Arrival & Departure Options
Advice: Train arrival and departure by TGV including seat reservation on trains with fixed reservations (direct connections not guaranteed), which must be adhered to, and one hotel night in a double bedroom including breakfast (prices for single and multi-bed room on request) and transfer from the TGV train station to the ship an back. The train prices are subject to change and availability, surcharges may apply (depending on the available booking class); BahnCard benefits not applicable.
Children up to the age of 5 travel free of charge without entitlement to their own seat, children aged 6 to 14 travel free of charge when accompanied by an adult on the German section of the route and at half price on the French section of the route.
On all trains running to and in France, it is necessary for suitcases to be labeled with first and last names. For operational reasons, train doors in France are closed very early and trains are cleared from the display board two minutes before scheduled departure. Please board the train at least two minutes before departure.
Due to major rail construction projects in 2025, connections may not be available on individual dates.

Advice: You are welcome to reserve your parking lot here. Payment for the parking space is made directly on site in Lyon. The parking garage is about a 10-minute walk from the pier. You will receive detailed information with your travel documents. All vehicles wishing to enter the environmental zone in Lyon require an environmental badge - the "Crit'Air" sticker. This can be ordered on the website of the French Ministry of the Environment.
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). On the large sun deck of the 125.8-metre-long and 11.4-metre-wide A-Rosa Luna, a casual holiday atmosphere is the order of the day. A-ROSA Luna Sustainability
A-ROSA has had a sustainability department since 2022, which works closely with the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI). All ships in the fleet have a shore power connection and are powered by marine gas oil without heavy fuel oil during the voyage. Waste is continuously reduced, for example through the use of paper straws and careful separation of waste. In addition, many care and cleaning products on board are made with certified ingredients. To save water, towels and bed linen are only cleaned as required during the voyage.
A-ROSA Luna staterooms
All staterooms are oceanview staterooms. The staterooms on deck 1 (category S and A) have a small window, and are approximately 14.5 sqm. The staterooms in the category S have 2 separate beds and one extra bed. The staterooms on deck 2 and 3 (category C and D, 14.5 sqm) have a french balcony. In these staterooms there are two beds, which are placed to form a double bed. All staterooms are equipped with a full bathroom, and have a chair and a small table. The staterooms all have a safe, air conditioning, a TV and a telephone.

On the ships of A-ROSA you feel like you are in a very good hotel: the furnishings are modern and elegant. Bright colors, large picture windows and a spacious salon create a lot of space so that you can relax, enjoy and experience a lot on your vacation. A-ROSA has developed an extensive land program. All excursions can be booked on board. So there are usually sightseeing tours, trips to castles, wineries and other attractions. There are also boat trips or strolls into town in the program. The bicycles of A-ROSA are used for trips to the environment. The tours are operated by local agencies.
