A-ROSA has been offering river cruises on a first-class level with a modern finish for 15 years. The cruise line welcomes you in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, with spacious and bright cabins and with varied and fresh cuisine. The casual atmosphere is emphasised by the fact that no particular dress-codes or seating times are expected . Various activities and wellness on board as well as interesting country programs complete the range at A-ROSA. Please note that the onboard language is German. Menus, itineraries or other documents can not be provided in any other language.
Built in 2005, the A-ROSA Luna offers all the amenities guests would like to have on a river cruise. At a length of 125 meters, the ship offers 86 cabins with a size of 14,5 sqm. The main on-board language is German.
Life on board
The crew is very friendly and will do its best to ensure that you feel welcome on board. On the ships of A-ROSA you feel like you are in a very good hotel: The design is modern and elegant. Bright colors, large windows and a spacious living room offer a lot of space for you to relax on your vacation. The dress is smart casual, as it is convenient for you. Formal dress is not required.
All staterooms are oceanview staterooms. The staterooms on deck 1 (category "S" and "A") have a picture window, and are approximately 14.5 sqm. The staterooms in the category "S" have 2 separate beds and one extra bed. The staterooms on deck 2 and 3 (category "C" and "D", 14,5 sqm) have a French balcony: These are floor to ceiling windows that can be opened. In all staterooms there are two beds, which are placed to form a double bed. All staterooms are equipped with a full bathroom, and have a chair, a small table and a television.
Food and Beverages
The "market restaurant" offers open dining times and large buffets. This means you can eat within the flexible opening times whenever you want and with whom you want at one table. Reservations of tables do not exist. The buffet offers a varied menu with lots of fresh and local products. At some stations there is "show cooking". On board there is also the "vinery". You can order good wine and regional delicacies (surcharge). Mineral water is included with the meals.
A café-restaurant invites guests to delicious coffee specialties. Coffee and tea in the afternoon are free, coffee specialties are paid. The cozy lounge on deck 3 has a beautiful view, where you can order from an extensive bar menu (not included).
Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation
There is a beautiful Finnish panoramic sauna on board. Through the large windows you can see the scenery pass by while relaxing in the sauna. There is also a less hot bio sauna, and some modern fitness equipments. Furthermore, there is a cozy relaxation area for guests who like to relax between their sauna sessions. There are also two very nice rooms for massage / spa treatments with an outside view (application fee).
Furthermore, there is a Jacuzzi on the sun deck.
A-ROSA has their own bikes as well as guided cycling tours. Own bicycles are due to reasons of limited space not allowed.
A-ROSA has developed an extensive land program. All excursions can be booked on board. So there are usually sightseeing tours, trips to castles, wineries and other attractions. There are also boat trips or strolls into town in the program. The bicycles of A-ROSA are used for trips to the environment (difficulty levels).
