Queen Mary 2 Staterooms
On board the Queen Mary 2, guests can choose from a range of stateroom and suite categories – from comfortable interior staterooms to spacious luxury suites. The categories differ not only in size and facilities, but also in the additional services and exclusive areas associated with them.
The Britannia staterooms form the classic stateroom category on board and offer comfortable accommodation in various styles – as an interior stateroom (approx. 15–18 sqm), an oceanview stateroom with sea view (approx. 15–17 sqm) or a balcony stateroom (approx. 23–25 sqm including balcony). Guests in this category enjoy classic Cunard service, a wide selection of restaurants and the extensive range of on-board entertainment.
The Britannia Club balcony staterooms measure approx. 23 sqm (including balcony) and also offer more upmarket facilities and access to the exclusive Britannia Club restaurant, where guests can dine in a quieter atmosphere with more flexible seating options.
The suites in the exclusive Princess Grill and Queens Grill categories offer a particularly generous amount of space and comfort.
Guests staying in the Princess Grill suites enjoy their own restaurant serving fine dining and attentive service. The Princess suites measure approx. 35 sqm (including balcony).
The Queens Grill suites represent the highest accommodation category and offer spacious living areas, an exclusive restaurant and a particularly personalised service. Depending on the category, the spacious Queens Grill suites range from approx. 47 to 209 sqm, including the balcony (the Royal Suite does not have a balcony, but features large panoramic windows).

- Princess Grill Restaurant (for Princess Grill guests): Guests staying in the Princess Grill suites can look forward to an elegant atmosphere, personalised service and fine dining with bespoke menus.
- Queens Grill Restaurant (for Queens Grill guests): The restaurant epitomises the ultimate in exclusivity on board and treats guests in the Queens Grill suites to exquisite cuisine, personalised service and an elegant atmosphere.
- Golden Lion: Here you can enjoy classic British pub food, with popular dishes such as fish and chips, burgers, curries and light snacks, in a relaxed atmosphere.
There is an additional charge at the following restaurants:
- Steakhouse at The Verandah: This elegant speciality restaurant welcomes guests with top-quality steaks, carefully selected seafood and a sophisticated culinary selection.
In the bars and lounges (not included), you can, amongst other things, relax with a cappuccino in the Chart Room in the afternoon, sample delicious cocktails in the Commodore Club, or enjoy an aperitif in the Carinthia Lounge. Traditional afternoon tea is a special Cunard experience and is served daily in the elegant Queens Room, featuring fine teas, freshly baked scones, sandwiches and pastries.
Queen Mary 2 Entertainment, sports and wellness

On the Queen Mary 2, free, age-appropriate daytime programmes are available for children and teenagers aged between two and 17. In the children’s areas – The Play Zone, The Kids Zone and The Teen Zone – qualified childcare staff look after the young guests and keep them entertained with a variety of games, activities and events. On selected cruises, evening childcare is also available until 11 pm (subject to availability).
