Note on pre-existing conditions:: Due to the high risk of severe illness in the event of a COVID-19 infection, participation in the cruise is unfortunately not possible for persons with pre-existing medical conditions such as severe/chronic respiratory insufficiency (e.g., requiring oxygen or respiratory support) or any dialysis. For persons aged 65 and over or persons with more than three medical conditions (including chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma; immunosuppression such as in connection with chemotherapy; cardiovascular disease; type 2 diabetes; chronic lung/liver/kidney diseases; autoimmune diseases; obesity), consultation with a physician is recommended before booking.
Changes after confirming the booking: Please note that Costa Cruises can levy a charge for any changes (e.g. name, birth date, gender) after the confirmed booking according to the terms and conditions.
Costa Cruises voucher: If you have Costa Cruises vouchers or if you are a member of the Costa Club, you receive the same benefits within the brochure rate by booking with seascanner.com.
Additional destination fees for cruise passengers: Some destinations charge a separate fee for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, among other things. Costa Cruises passes on these additional costs and charges them to your onboard account at the end of your voyage. This is currently the case for:
- Iceland: Mandatory for all passengers, approx. 18 € per day/person for each 24-hour stay
- Greece: For all shore leavers, depending on the port/season varying fees (approx. 1-20 € per person/port)
Recommendation: Changes of hygiene, test, vaccination or entry requirements may occur shortly prior departure. Some countries require an online registration prior entry, the time limits and regulations vary. We recommend checking the current regulations for travelers and returnees in time prior departure.
