Costa Diadema was built in 2014. The ship is 306 meters long, has 14 decks and 4947 passengers can travel with it. The modern Italian elegance characterizes the ship. In total there are 1862 staterooms. 130 staterooms have a direct access to the Samsara Spa and 756 staterooms have an own balcony. The interior staterooms have a size of 14 sqm, the oceanview staterooms of 15-17 sqm and the balcony staterooms of 17 sqm. The size of the suites differs between 20-41 sqm. All staterooms give a spacious and comfortable impression.

The atmosphere on board of Costa Diadema is very international with a special focus on the Italian way of life. Many passengers and crew members speak English. The dress code is casual and informal. On a few days in the main restaurant there are Gala evenings for which a more elegant clothing is suitable. The ship is very family friendly and a lot of children and teenagers are happy about the special entertainment programme.

• Teppanyaki Restaurant: Here you will experience a great cooking show from the Japanese chefs.
• Sushino at Costa: Do you like nigiri, maki, sashimi and mochi? Then this sushi bistro is just right for you
• Pizzeria Pummid' Oro: Enjoy a freshly prepared pizza made with high-quality ingredients and slow-risen sourdough.
• La Fiorentina Steak House: Are you a meat lover? Here you can enjoy the best Italian meats.
• Restaurant Élite Suite & Club: Enjoy special dishes with excellent service.
• The Salty Beach Street Food: Are you a burger fan? Here you will find the true flavors of street food.

In the various lounges and bars (not included) like the Grand Bar Orlov or the La Piazza Bar, you can use your drinks packages, enjoy drinks and make new contacts.

On board of Costa Diadema there are high-tech video games, shows in the theatre and special events. The Emerald theatre is located on three decks and exclusive shows with singers, dancers and acrobats are shown there. In the Country Rock Club the video arcade of Costa Diadema guest can find an area with video games, laser shootings. Thanks to the glass roof which covers the pool deck the swimming pool can be used in bad weather conditions as well. For the children there is a seperate pool and playing area. The passengers who are interested in wellness and relaxation should try the 6200 sqm large Samsara Spa and participate in a sports class or book a special treatment.
