Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). The Costa Toscana is build in the Meyer Turku shipyard and started its first voyage in March 2022. It is the sister ship of the Costa Smeralda and will also be running with LNG. It will display a tribute to the most popular regions in Italy. Innovations and Novelties on one side and the known warmth of the italian hospitality - aboard the Costa Toscana you'll experience an unforgettable holiday adventure. All in all the ship is 337 metres long and has 17 passenger decks. Costa Toscana is, next to the Costa Smeralda, the largest ship of the Costa Cruises fleet. Since 2014, the Costa Crociere Foundation has been coordinating all of Costa Cruises' social and environmental initiatives. Through 32 projects, the foundation has already reached over 185,000 people in more than 130 countries. Its work ranges from educational programmes and environmental protection measures to social aid programmes implemented both in port cities and beyond. Costa Toscana staterooms
Style and design 'Made in Italy' meet in the staterooms and suites of the Costa Toscana. They were designed by the Milan-based architecture studio Dordoni Architetti in collaboration with other renowned studios worldwide. All furniture, lamps, fabrics and accessories were individually designed and realise the style of Italy's Finest. Light and friendly colours, fine fabrics and modern design can be found in all staterooms and suites.

Additional destination fees for cruise passengers: Some destinations charge a separate fee for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, among other things.
