Atmosphere aboard of Hamburg
The ship and its crew members welcome the guests in a very familiar and relaxed atmosphere. The ship's size is perfect to get in touch with the fellow travellers. During the day informal and casual clothes dominate. For the restaurants a well-groomed dressing style is recommended. One of the highlights during the holiday is the captain's dinner with formal attire.
The guests have the choice between the buffet restaurant Palmgarten and the à-la-carte restaurant Alsterblick. For lunch and dinner in the Alsterblick the travellers sit at the same table for the whole cruise. For the dinner there is only one seating. The Palmgarten is extended by a terrace with the opportunity to eat outside. Apart from the main meal times coffee and tea with cake and snacks, a midnight snack, a sausage station and a little refreshment after the shore excursions are offered.

The daily program includes games like bingo, dart, shuffleboard and skat. Of course shows and lectures taking place in the Hamburg-Lounge are part of the program as well. Topics of the lectures can be the different travelled destinations or current themes like politics etc.. For further entertainment there are a library, different shops and activities at the pool deck. The sport and wellness area covers a fitness room, a hair dresser and a sauna.
