About Phoenix Reisen
The tour operator and cruise provider Phoenix Reisen was founded in 1973 and is specialized in high-quality river and ocean cruises. The portfolio includes not only classic river trips, e.g. on the Danube, the Rhine and the Volga, but also exotic routes such as cruises in South America, the Orient or the South Seas. Due to the small ship sizes with capacities of 150 to 1200 passengers, there is a family atmosphere on board. During the cruise you can enjoy high-quality dishes, from the maritime fish buffet to grilled specialties to desserts and cakes. Phoenix Reisen also offers special arrangements for wedding couples, birthday children or other anniversaries and celebrations.

Atmosphere on board
As on all Phoenix ships, the atmosphere aboard the Ariana is comfortable and casual. The dress code on board is casual; more elegant clothes are expected for the traditional captain's dinner, but evening attire is not necessary here either. Regional events, live music and light entertainment will make your cruise on the Ariana a relaxing treat.
MS Ariana restaurants, bars & lounges
In the Panorama-Restaurant, which is already included in the price, the regular kitchen crew of the Ariana serves a rich breakfast buffet as well as multi-course lunches and dinners. There is a common meal time on board, which gives you more flexibility in planning your day and allows you to decide whether you want to eat earlier or later. In addition, there is the comfortable Lido Bar (not included) and the light-flooded Panorama-Lounge (not included) with bar and dance floor on the Orion Deck.
Entertainment, sports & relaxation
During the trip you can expect regular dance evenings with live music. A selection of books, board and card games is available to you. On deck you can enjoy the wide range of sun loungers with sun protection, the whirlpool and the bar service. The hairdressing and massage salon on board ensures deep relaxation. Those who do not want to live without sporting activities during the trip can work out in the ship's small fitness room.
MS Ariana shore excursions
Through a variety of shore excursions, you have the opportunity to get to know the country and its people along the route. The excursion program is adapted to the length of stay of the ship and is accompanied by qualified tour guides. The excursions are usually in German language. The shore excursions can be booked directly on board or partly in advance online at the cruise company.
