Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket is valid on DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German train stations (and Basel Badischer Bahnhof, Kufstein, Salzburg Hbf and Schaffhausen) on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC) and includes a free seat reservation, as well as the City Ticket. Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. For journeys over 100 km, the Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket can also be used on the day before the ship's departure and on the day after the ship's arrival.
- Seascanner Rail & Cruise SAVER: Save on your ticket price - The Seascanner Rail & Cruise SAVER is subject to a train connection after selecting the desired connection (does not apply to local trains; however, the journey must be completed by 10:00 AM on the following day). Rebooking/cancellation is not possible.
- Seascanner Rail & Cruise FLEX: Benefit from more flexibility - with Seascanner Rail & Cruise FLEX, you select the connection you want, but are then flexible in the use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). Rebooking/cancellation is possible on request.
After booking the Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket, you will receive one voucher code per person and route. About Compass Opera
The former ship Dutch Opera was built in 1998 and renovated in 2022. She was therefore renamed Compass Opera and has been sailing under this name ever since.
Compass Opera staterooms
The Compass Opera offers 73 cabins, which are sufficiently large with approx. 14 sqm. Each cabin is equipped with two single beds that can optionally be made up as a double bed, TV, wardrobe, individually regulated air conditioning, shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone and safe.
The standard cabins on the main deck offer a non-opening window, the 4 superior cabins on the middle deck offer a large round window, the upper half of which can be opened.

Atmopshere on board of Compass Opera
The atmosphere on board the Compass Opera is sporty and elegant. During the day, you are well dressed in smart, casual leisurewear; in the evening and for the captain's evening, a more elegant wardrobe is welcome; however, evening dress is not necessary. Enjoy the ride in the panorama lounge, protected from wind and weather and in a pleasant atmosphere. Make yourself comfortable there and watch - perhaps with a cocktail or glass of wine - the
cocktail or glass of wine - the passing landscapes and regions, villages, castles and chapels on the banks, the ships and the ever-changing river. Enjoy the peace and quiet and in the evening review the experiences of the day.

In keeping with the journey on the Rhine and Moselle and past magnificent wine-growing areas, the cuisine offers regional specialities as well as matching wines. The attentive staff will give you expert advice.
Entertainment, sport & wellness
The German tour guide organises dance evenings with live music, quizzes and theme nights. Various board games and a small library are available on board. The moorings are also inviting for a short walk or a discovery tour on your own in the evening.
