Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket is valid on DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German train stations (and Basel Badischer Bahnhof, Kufstein, Salzburg Hbf and Schaffhausen) on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC) and includes a free seat reservation, as well as the City Ticket. Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. For journeys over 100 km, the Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket can also be used on the day before the ship's departure and on the day after the ship's arrival.
- Seascanner Rail & Cruise SAVER: Save on your ticket price - The Seascanner Rail & Cruise SAVER is subject to a train connection after selecting the desired connection (does not apply to local trains; however, the journey must be completed by 10:00 AM on the following day). Rebooking/cancellation is not possible.
- Seascanner Rail & Cruise FLEX: Benefit from more flexibility - with Seascanner Rail & Cruise FLEX, you select the connection you want, but are then flexible in the use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). Rebooking/cancellation is possible on request.
After booking the Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket, you will receive one voucher code per person and route. - Information regarding the parking lot: Provision of a fenced and guarded parking lot near the port including transfer from the parking lot to the ship and back. Payment on arrival at the parking lot on site in cash or with EC card. You will receive all details as well as exact directions to your parking space approximately 14 days before your trip begins.
- Pricing and vehicle: Price per vehicle for the entire duration of the cruise including transfers. Early check-in (arrival between 8-10 AM) for 50 € surcharge. Motorhome surcharge depending on size 60-100 € per vehicle (only outdoor parking); electricity connection for 35 € per vehicle (electric car/motorhome) for up to 18 days cruises can be added on request.
- Repositionings: Warnemuende/Kiel/Bremerhaven 239 € per vehicle + parking lot rent, shuttle transfer for 60 € per person.
- Cancellation fees: Cancellation free of charge up to 11 AM on the day of arrival, after that 100 %.

About MSC Poesia
The MSC Poesia, a Musica-class ship, entered service in April 2008. The MSC Poesia offers At 293.80 length the ship can accommodate 2,550 passengers (with double occupancy). Admire the spectacular waterfall in the foyer of MSC Poesia and enjoy a soothing break in the Zen Garden. The public areas are modern, colorful and pompous. MSC Poesia Sustainability
MSC Cruises has set itself the long-term goal of achieving zero emissions in all its operations. In order to already avoid as many emissions as possible, the MSC Poesia has been equipped with a shore power connection and can therefore be connected to a shore power system in all ports.
MSC Poesia Staterooms
The staterooms are modern and comfortable and equipped with a bathroom with shower, TV, telephone, minibar, and safe.
The interior staterooms are approximately 14 sqm, the exterior staterooms approximately 16-17 sqm, and the balcony staterooms approximately 15-18 sqm.
Until mid-April 2026, you will find the Aurea Suite with approximately 26 sqm, and from 23rd April 2026, the popular MSC Yacht Club will be available on MSC Poesia. Atmosphere on board the MSC Poesia
On board the MSC Poesia, it's like landing in a modern and well-kept holiday hotel: good food, a wide range of sports, comfortable staterooms and many entertainment options. Even at this relaxed and casual atmosphere, festive attire is recommended two nights a week in the main restaurants. Guests who like it even more casual can visit the buffet restaurant at this evenings where no dress code is expected.

Childcare is also provided for your children: babies and toddlers between six months and two years are looked after by certified staff in the Baby Club, which was created in collaboration with the leading children's brand Chicco®. MSC's experienced entertainers look after the children with various games and many sporting activities. Additional destination fees for cruise passengers: Some destinations charge a separate fee for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, among other things. Required travel documents by MSC Cruises: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German citizens only require identity card or children up to the age of 14 a children's passport or ePassport; these documents need a validity of 6 months after the trip.
