Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). With approximately 146,600 GT and 326 m in length, Norwegian Getaway is one of the largest cruise ships in the fleet. On board there are 22 bars and lounges, and 26 different dining options, of which 6 are available at no extra charge. Staterooms
All cabins are decorated in a very modern style and have flat screens, a spacious wardrobe, a minibar and are designed energy efficient. For example, the light is regulated by the key card. Also on the Getaway you will find the popular studios for solo travelers (about 9 m²). The inside cabins are about 14 m² in size, the outside cabins offer 15m² of personal space. The modern interior design offers plenty of clever ways to stow your luggage and welcomes you with a warm ambiance with smooth lines and lovely details. The balcony cabins (21 m²) offer a lot of comfort and a wonderful view. With extra space and a luxurious bathroom, the mini-suites with balcony (25 - 36 m²) are especially popular with the guests. The “The Haven” Suites are 32-86 m² in size and have their own whirlpool and many other amenities.
Atmosphere on Board
The atmosphere on board it is easy and relaxed. Guests from numerous countries travel with the ships of Norwegian Cruise Line. Everything is possible. You can pack festive clothes, as there are gala dinners for some dining options. You do not feel like dressing up? No problem - there are no strict clothing rules on board. In the main restaurants only swimwear and shorts are not desired. The Norwegian Cruise Line offers the perfect holiday for young and young at heart. Food and Beverages
On board the Norwegian Getaway you can choose between many different dining options. There are no fixed table times. In the specialty restaurants on board, you can enjoy delicious dishes from all over the world at an extra charge. There is a steakhouse, a French restaurant, a fish restaurant, a Brazilian churrascaria, a teppanyaki and an italian restaurant. Other new additions include Ocean Blu by Geoffrey Zakarian, Ocean Blue on the Waterfront and The Raw Bar, the first seafood restaurant on the high seas with indoor and outdoor seating. Norwegian Getaway also offers the three main restaurants Savor, Taste and The Manhattan Room already included in the cruise price.
Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation
The Norwegian Getaway offers various possibilities for entertainment e.g. the theater with the popular musical show Rock of Ages. The Vibe Beach Club is adults only and has its own bar and a large hot tub. There is a Las Vegas-style casino on board, as well as more sedate places like an art gallery and an internet café and a shopping mile. Of course, there is also a disco / night club where you can dance the night away. There are also a lot of entertainment and activities for the children and teens. Children aged 3 to 12 years old meet in the largest children's area of all NCL ships, the Splash Academy. Teenagers can spend the day among peers in "Entourage" and even for the very small crusaders from 6 months to two years, there is a separate area where they can play under the care of their parents. For the more active guests a large variety of sporty possibilities is offered. The modern fitness area, open 24 hours a day, leaves nothing to be desired: dumbbells, TRX and endurance training on the most modern equipment, as well as various courses are offered. The spa features luxurious spa services, including a day spa, a Medi Spa, and a beauty salon. Professionally trained massage therapists take care of your well-being. Other highlights to relax and unwind are the large thermal suites, including steam and dry saunas, a vitality pool, hot tubs and heated and tiled lounges for the ultimate in relaxation. An unforgettable experience should be the salt room to rest.
