Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). In addition to the flights and local transfers, the Germany-wide Rail&Fly ticket in 2nd class for all PREMIUM prices or in 1st class for the COMFORT ALL IN fare is included. The Rail&Fly ticket is not valid for cruises from/to Germany and cannot be used for departure and destination train stations in the same DB transport network. For bookings in all other fares, the Rail&Fly ticket can be booked for an additional charge.

AIDAcosma belongs to the latest ship class and is the sister ship of AIDAnova. AIDAcosma was built by the well-known Meyer Werft from Papenburg, Germany. Some parts of the ship were built in the Neptun Werft in Rostock, Germany. Godmother to the AIDAcosma is the former German track bike athlete and two-times olympic champion Kristina Vogel. AIDAcosma is a ship for travellers of all ages and especially families feel very comfortable aboard. Environmentally friendly technologies like LNG are used like abaord AIDAnova.

AIDAcosma staterooms
AIDAcosma offers a big variety of staterooms in 21 different cabin categories. The staterooms vary from an interior single cabin to a luxury suite. The largest staterooms are the suites with a size of approx. 73-83 sqm where five travellers can be accomodated. The two-storey Penthouse Suite with an amazing view is one of the highlights. As well as on board of AIDAnova there are interior and balcony staterooms for solo travellers. In general the furnishing is modern and in light colors. The basic equipment covers bath robes, a hair dryer, a tv, a telephone and a safe. Of course there is an air condition as well.
Atmosphere on board of AIDAcosma
According to the various facilities guests of all ages enjoy the holiday. They appreciate the relaxed, informal atmosphere and the great service of the friendly and helpful crew members. Sports and entertainment are offered in the daily program but there are also calm places on the ship to relax and enjoy the sea view.

In the various lounges and bars (not included) you can use your drinks packages, enjoy drinks and make new contacts. Enjoy a relaxing cappuccino in the Café Mare, savour delicious cocktails in the AIDA Bar or have an aperitif in the Rossini Bar. We also recommend the ice bar, where you can enjoy delicious ice creations, or the Art Bar with colourful works of art and a variety of drinks.
Entertainment, sports & relaxation
Like on the other ships of the fleet there are many entertainment, fitness and relaxation facilities. In the evening fascinating shows take place in the Theatrium and on the 360 degree-stage. In the Beach Club with constantly 25 degrees amazing parties take place. Rock fans will be satisfied by the live music in the Rock Box Bar. In the large fitness area Body & Soul Sport there are modern sports equipment, class rooms and Power Plates. The fitness area is opened all day long. Most of the sports classes are free of cost. For good relaxation you should not miss to visit the Body & Soul Organic Spa. There are five saunas, a tepidarium, a fireplace lounge and an outside area with further jacuzzis. Special wellness treatments as well as appointments at the hairdresser or make-up artist can be booked for a surcharge. Active guests can try to climb at the new boulder wall or use the water slides. Instead of the Four Elements there is an open pool deck with an infinity pool, a pool bar and a stage.
AIDAcosma children
The offer for families is gigantic and starts already with the selection of the stateroom before your holiday aboard. There are a lot of staterooms which can host four of five travellers. Some have a connecting door as well. On the ship there is a child care program for children and teenagers between 3 and 17 years. For the youngest guests between six and 36 months a baby sitting service is offered for a surcharge. The best restaurant for families is the Fuego Restaurant. The lowered buffet, favourite dishes like noodles and the soft ice machine make the children's heart flutter. Besides that there is the very practical Baby Bistro with baby food jars, ready-to-eat meals, a microwave and much more. For playing time there are an indoor playground, water slides, swimming pools with life jackets and a lot of games.
Our summary
AIDAcosma is highly recommended for a fantastic holiday with the family. Solo travellers will like this ship as well and get in touch with other passengers quickly. The various onboard facilities guarantee a lot of fun during a day at sea. Our favourite place to watch the sailaway is the area around the Pool Bar on deck 18 with some nice and calm lounge music played by the DJ.
