The Mein Schiff Relax is powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG); in the future, it can also be operated with low-emission and climate-friendly bio- and e-LNG. The ship also has a shore power connection and improved catalytic converters (nitrogen oxide reduction to Euro-6 standard).
On board, waste will be processed even more efficiently by means of an innovative waste system that thermally shreds organic waste and processes it directly for further use on land.

In addition to inside and outside cabins for single travellers, single balcony cabins measuring approx. 11 square metres are available on the new Relax for the first time compared to the previous ships. The newly designed inside, outside and balcony cabins with bright and modern interiors are between 15 and 17 square metres in size and can accommodate up to four people. There is not a lot of room to move around, but the storage space is well thought out. It should also be noted that some cabins in the lower part of the ship (especially on decks 6 and 7) are partially visible from the outside. When booking, you should therefore try to avoid these if you don't like being watched.

This is not to be feared in the luxury area: The Junior Suites are approximately 25 square metres in size, while the Beautiful View Suites are around 33 square metres. The 28-38 square metre Fernweh Suite has a living room and a separate bedroom. The new Weitblick suites offer a 43 square metre living area and a separate bedroom. Guests can expect a particularly large amount of space in the new suite category: the Great Freedom Suite is approx. 88 square metres in size and can accommodate up to six people. This suite extends over two decks and offers a living room, a smaller and a spacious bedroom as well as an infrared sauna in the bathroom.

On board the Mein Schiff Relax you can expect a relaxed and informal atmosphere. The generously designed outdoor areas offer plenty of free space and also allow privacy and calm. Well-being, relaxation and enjoyment are the focus of the new ship. With the "Premium Inclusive Services" concept, almost all meals and drinks as well as tips are already included in the cruise price.

From the exclusive Japanese restaurant to Greek specialities and the French bistro - there is something for every taste in the numerous restaurants and bars. Mein Schiff Relax awaits guests with new and varied culinary highlights.

The following restaurants are included in the price:

• Harbour Market (buffet restaurant): A variety of dishes from the hot and cold buffet await you here - from home-style cooking to a wok station and speciality buffets.
• Taverna Dionysos: Try Greek specialities, e.g. gyros and bifteki, in the blue and white interior or in the outdoor area.
• Mein Schiff Bar & Bistro: Enjoy a daily changing selection of dishes from different cultures and a wide range of drinks.
• Sur Mer Bistrot: Savour typical French dishes such as coq au vin or fresh croissants.
• Atlantik (main restaurant): A rich breakfast buffet awaits you here in the morning and daily changing 5-course menus in the evening.
• Osteria - Pizza e Pasta: The Italian restaurant offers homemade pizza, pasta and fresh salads.
• Pane e Sole Bistro: Here you can enjoy light meals such as sandwiches or fruit salad in a relaxed atmosphere.

You pay a surcharge in the following speciality restaurants:

• Høfde: Delicious meat and fish classics are served in this cosy steakhouse.
• Fugu: Sample Asian delicacies while virtual reality effects, projections and various sounds accompany your meal.
• Chalet: Enjoy specialities of Alpine cuisine in a cosy fireplace atmosphere.
• X-View: The new suite restaurant is exclusively for suite guests.

The numerous bars and lounges leave nothing to be desired. For example, you can relax with a delicious cappuccino in the Barista's Bar (not included) or enjoy an aperitif in the Atlantik Bar, which elegantly adjoins the restaurant. After dinner, you can round off the evening with an excellent, high-quality drink in the Captain's Bar (not included). In addition to the outstanding atmosphere there, the particularly sophisticated drinks are definitely worth a visit. We also recommend the Street Art Bar, which features graffiti art and delicious drinks, as well as the Agora Bar in the open air in good weather.

 On Mein Schiff Relax, true to the ship's name, special attention is paid to relaxation: in the large spa area, you can enjoy a Finnish sauna with panoramic views of the sea, a steam bath, herbal sauna and foot baths. The new cold chamber offers the opportunity to book cryotherapy treatments as an exclusive service. A short but lasting experience! Of course, you can also enjoy classic massages and cosmetic treatments or relax in the relaxation room. A special highlight is the barrel sauna, which is located at the top of an outdoor deck. The whirlpools invite you to relax in the outdoor area, while the infinity pool and the outdoor pool with a length of 25 metres provide pleasant refreshment during the day.

The gym area is also state of the art and there is plenty of water to see while working out. The fully covered sports arena is also a highlight and offers an excellent sports option both for adults during courses and for children as a multi-sports field. The jogging circuit, on the other hand, can be safely forgotten as it is narrow and not well separated from the footpath.

On board, guests can expect a great entertainment offer: Experience unique burlesque shows and live music in the Casino Burlesque - a new theatre with stage and bar as well as an adjoining casino area. Another new hexagonal theatre can be used in a variety of ways, for example for events or as a club. In a small theatre you can look forward to plays, variety shows, readings and lectures.

This is especially true for suite guests, who have 2 wonderful exclusive areas at the stern of the ship at their disposal, as well as high-quality extra dining options. Older children should also feel at home, as the gym and arena facilities are comparatively good. There are at least a few whirlpools for very young children, even if there are no slides, as is usual on Mein Schiff.
