The A-ROSA train ticket to/from Passau (Germany) for a special rate includes:

With your cruise documents you will receive a code with which you can choose your connection to/from the port and with which you can redeem the train ticket. The train voucher can be used to travel at the day of the cruise or one day before and/or one day after the cruise. The validity of the train ticket for travels up to 100 km is one day at the day of validation and for travels more than 100 km two days from the day of validation and ends at 03:00 AM at the following day of the last validation. For travels up to 100 km the voyage has to start at the day that is written on the ticket.
- Information regarding the parking lot: Provision of a fenced and guarded parking lot near the port including transfer from the parking lot to the ship and back. Payment on arrival at the parking lot on site in cash or with EC or credit card. Car acceptance usually between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM; baggage drop-off in advance at the ship (A-ROSA from 2:00 PM).
- Pricing: Price per vehicle for the entire duration of the cruise including transfers. Motorhome surcharge 20 € per vehicle (only outdoor parking), pricing for motorhomes with a length of more than 8.50 meters on request.
- Cancellation fees: Cancellation free of charge up to 24 hours before departure, from 24 hours before departure 50 % service fee. In case of no-show or no cancellation 100 % of the parking lot price.
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket offer can only be used in connection with an international flight from/to a German airport (for flights from/to Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels, Vienna, Salzburg and Basel, a request is possible for an additional charge).
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket offer is valid on DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German railroad stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including the age of 14) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route, class and day). About A-ROSA Donna
Built in 2002, the A-ROSA Donna allows guests to enjoy a wonderful Donau cruise full of comfort, exclusive facilities and extremely varied activities on a total of four decks. The ship offers space for 206 guests on a total length of almost 125 m. At the beginning of 2019, both staterooms and public areas were renovated and redesigned.

A-ROSA Donna Sustainability
A-ROSA has had a sustainability department since 2022, which works closely with the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI). All ships in the fleet have a shore power connection and are powered by marine gas oil without heavy fuel oil during the voyage. Waste is continuously reduced, for example through the use of paper straws and careful separation of waste. In addition, many care and cleaning products on board are made with certified ingredients. To save water, towels and bed linen are only cleaned as required during the voyage.
A-ROSA Donna staterooms
All staterooms on the A-ROSA Donna are outside staterooms. The staterooms on deck 1 (category S and A) have a window and are approx. 14.5 to 15.5 sqm. The staterooms on deck 2 (category C, approx. 16 sqm) have a french balcony. On deck 3 there are the category B staterooms, which offer particularly large panoramic windows and are around 16.5 sqm. In all staterooms there are two beds that are put together to form a double bed. All staterooms are equipped with a full bathroom with hairdryer and have a seating area and a small table. In addition, all staterooms have a safe, air conditioning, TV and telephone.
Atmosphere on board of A-ROSA Donna
On the ships of A-ROSA you feel like you are in a very good hotel: the furnishings are modern and elegant. Bright colors, large picture windows and a spacious salon create a lot of space so that you can relax, enjoy and experience a lot on your vacation. The guests are often a little younger than on river cruises from other providers. During the holidays, families also like to travel with A-ROSA every now and then. You dress in a sporty and elegant way, formal attire is not required. Guests pay their bills in Euro.
A-ROSA Donna restaurants
In a stylish yet cosy atmosphere, enjoy your meals in the market restaurant. Freshly filled buffets offer varied international dishes and regional specialities. At the live cooking, you can watch them being prepared. Mineral water is included with meals. The small café on board invites you to enjoy delicious coffee specialities. Coffee and tea are available free of charge in the afternoon. Coffee specialties can be purchased at an additional cost.
Entertainment, sports & relaxation
In the modern Spa-ROSA area you can be pampered extensively by the trained wellness staff. You can also enjoy the sauna in the Finnish sauna or bio sauna and relax in the relaxation area. A fitness room is available for your daily workout. A putting green and shuffleboard are available for light physical activity after meals. There is also a small, heated swimming pool on the outside deck. You can fully enjoy the passing river landscape on sufficient deck chairs.
A-ROSA Donna shore excursions
A-ROSA has developed an extensive land program. All excursions can be booked on board. There are usually sightseeing tours, trips to castles, wineries and other attractions. Boat trips or city strolls are also on the program. A-ROSA's bikes are used for excursions in the area. The tours are operated by local agencies.
