The A-ROSA train ticket to/from Passau (Germany) for a special rate includes:

With your cruise documents you will receive a code with which you can choose your connection to/from the port and with which you can redeem the train ticket. The train voucher can be used to travel at the day of the cruise or one day before and/or one day after the cruise. The validity of the train ticket for travels up to 100 km is one day at the day of validation and for travels more than 100 km two days from the day of validation and ends at 03:00 AM at the following day of the last validation. For travels up to 100 km the voyage has to start at the day that is written on the ticket.
- Information regarding the parking lot: Provision of a fenced and guarded parking lot near the port including transfer from the parking lot to the ship and back. Payment on arrival at the parking lot on site in cash or with EC or credit card. Car acceptance usually between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM; baggage drop-off in advance at the ship (A-ROSA from 2:00 PM).
- Pricing: Price per vehicle for the entire duration of the cruise including transfers. Motorhome surcharge 20 € per vehicle (only outdoor parking), pricing for motorhomes with a length of more than 8.50 meters on request.
- Cancellation fees: Cancellation free of charge up to 24 hours before departure, from 24 hours before departure 50 % service fee. In case of no-show or no cancellation 100 % of the parking lot price.
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket offer can only be used in connection with an international flight from/to a German airport (for flights from/to Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels, Vienna, Salzburg and Basel, a request is possible for an additional charge).
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket offer is valid on DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German railroad stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including the age of 14) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route, class and day). About A-ROSA Riva
The A-ROSA Riva was built in 2004 at the Neptun shipyard and has room for a maximum of 242 guests. On board you will find a number of amenities, such as a spacious sun deck, a heated outdoor pool and a panoramic lounge with bar and dance floor. In the restaurant you can enjoy regional and seasonal specialities. The crew is very friendly and will do everything to make you feel welcome on board.

A-ROSA Riva Sustainability
A-ROSA has had a sustainability department since 2022, which works closely with the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research (ISI). All ships in the fleet have a shore power connection and are powered by marine gas oil without heavy fuel oil during the voyage. Waste is continuously reduced, for example through the use of paper straws and careful separation of waste. In addition, many care and cleaning products on board are made with certified ingredients. To save water, towels and bed linen are only cleaned as required during the voyage.
Atmosphere on board
On the A-ROSA ships you feel like you are in a very good hotel: the furnishings are modern and elegant. Light colours, large panoramic windows and a spacious salon create plenty of room for you to relax, enjoy and at the same time experience a lot during your holiday. The guests are often somewhat younger than on river cruises with other providers. Now and then, families also like to travel with A-ROSA during their holidays. Guests dress sportily and elegantly, formal attire is not required.
The staterooms
All staterooms on the A-ROSA Riva are outside cabins. The staterooms on deck 1 (category S and A) have a window and are about 14.5 to 15.5 sqm. The staterooms on deck 2 (category C, approx. 16 sqm) have a French balcony. On deck 3 there are the staterooms of category B, which offer particularly large panoramic windows and are approx. 16.5 sqm in size.
In all staterooms there are two beds which are combined to form a double bed. All staterooms are equipped with a full bathroom and have a sitting area, a small table and a TV.
Food and Beverages
The restaurant offers open table times and large buffets. This means you can eat flexibly within the opening hours, when you want and with whom you want. There are no reserved tables. The buffet offers varied dishes with many fresh, regional products. At some stations, dishes are also freshly prepared "live" (so-called "show cooking"). There is no à la carte restaurant on board. Mineral water is included with meals. A café bar invites you to enjoy delicious coffee specialities. Coffee and tea are available free of charge in the afternoon, coffee specialities can be purchased for an additional charge. The large bar on deck 3 in the front area offers a very nice view. Here you can order from an extensive bar menu (not included).
Entertainment, sports and wellness
There is a very beautiful Finnish panorama sauna on board. Through the large windows you can see the landscape pass by during your sauna session. There is also a less hot bio sauna and some modern fitness equipment. A small rest area invites you to relax between sauna sessions. In addition, there are two very nice rooms for massage and wellness treatments with a view outside (treatments for a fee). On the sun deck there is a heatable, small pool as well as numerous loungers for sunbathing and relaxing.
Shore Excursions
A-ROSA has developed an extensive land program. All excursions can be booked on board. So there are usually sightseeing tours, trips to castles, wineries and other attractions. There are also boat trips or strolls into town in the program. The bicycles of A-ROSA are used for trips to the environment (difficulty levels).
