The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket offer can only be used in connection with an international flight from/to a German airport (for flights from/to Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels, Vienna, Salzburg and Basel, a request is possible for an additional charge).
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket offer is valid on DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German railroad stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including the age of 14) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route, class and day). The stylish MSC Virtuosa sails to the most beautiful coastal cities in the Mediterranean. The naming of the MSC Virtuosa goes back to the word "virtuos". MSC Virtuosa Staterooms
MSC Virtuosa offers you a variety of different staterooms and suites, including amongst others family staterooms, maisonette suites with own whirlpool, ocenaview staterooms, single staterooms and many more. The size differs depending on the stateroom category from 12 to 22 sqm. Special family staterooms mostly consist of two or three staterooms which are combined with connecting doors. The smallest suites offer up to 39 sqm and the large maisonette suites up to 59 sqm on two decks. All staerooms and suites are modern and pleasant furnished and give you a comfortable home on board. Guests can also book a stateroom in the exclusive MSC Yacht Club with 103 Suited and extended VIP-option onboard. This is a separated area which can only be used by these guests and offers a variety of amenities, e. g. butler-service or a private restaurant. MSC Virtuosa children
There is plenty to discover on board for children of all ages: Thrill seekers can master a high rope course 80 metres above the sea. In the Savannah aqua park, pool areas and several slides, a funnel slide and two fast-paced tube slides, await for plenty of fun. In the LEGO® play area, children have the opportunity to build great things every day.
In various family game shows, children can challenge their parents or win prizes together as a family.
Childcare is also provided: babies and toddlers aged between six months and two years are looked after by certified staff in the Baby Club, which was created in collaboration with the leading children's brand Chicco®. Toddlers aged three to six play in the MSC Mini Club and the Junior Club looks after children aged seven to eleven. MSC's experienced entertainers look after the children with various games and many sporting activities. The MSC Voyages Club member number has to be entered directly while booking in order to benefit from the club discount - if applicable for this cruise and rate - in order get it applied to the reservation.
Additional destination fees for cruise passengers: Some destinations charge a separate fee for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, among other things. MSC Cruises passes on these additional costs and charges them to your onboard account. This is currently the case for:
- Iceland: Mandatory for all passengers, approx. 18 € per day/person for each 24-hour stay, debited from the on-board account after departure from the port
- Greece: For all shore leavers, depending on the port/season varying fees (approx. 1-20 € per person/port), debited from the on-board account the evening before the respective call and, in case of remaining in the port on board, refunded within 24 hours

Required travel documents by MSC Cruises: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German citizens only require identity card or children up to the age of 14 a children's passport or ePassport; these documents need a validity of 6 months after the trip.
