The tour operator and provider of river cruises DCS-Touristik was founded in 1985 and is specialized in high-quality bus-boat combination journeys as well as group, event, and city trips. The itineraries of the cruises lead mostly along the rivers Danube, Main, Rhine, Moselle and Volga. Also offshore cruises to Croatia and Greece were recently added to the programme.

The MS Galileo is a classical motor sailer and was renovated several times after it was built in 1992, lastly in the summer of 2020. The public indoor and outdoor areas in particular were extensively upgraded. The ship has modern equipment and offers a lot of comfort. On board there is an elegantly furnished restaurant, a lounge area and a bar with an outdoor area. The large sun deck invites you to relax and linger. The MS Galileo always sails under motor, but when the weather conditions are good and the route allows it, there is also sailing possible.

The ship's 24 staterooms have a size of approx. 10 to 14 sqm, are comfortably furnished and equipped with large portholes. They have an own bathroom with a shower, a double bed or two single beds, a mini fridge, a safe for valuables and a flat screen TV. The air conditioner in each stateroom can be regulated according to your own wishes. The staterooms in category A are located on the upper deck, while category B and C staterooms are on the lower deck.

Here you can relax extensively from everyday stress and discover picturesque bays and small harbours. Upon arrival on board you will be greeted with a welcome cocktail.

During the cruise you will receive a delicious breakfast buffet as well as a lunch or dinner with typical local dishes as part of the half-board arrangement. It will be served either at your seat or you can help yourself at the cold and warm buffet, which also includes an “à la minute cooking” area. Large windows in the restaurant offer a unique view of the sea. At the drinks station you can get fresh coffee, tea and water every day. Enjoy the last rays of sun in the evening with a cool drink in the outdoor area of ​​the bar.

Linger on the large sun deck with numerous loungers and seating options and enjoy the sun and the view of the coast and the sea. During the cruise, enjoy a few stops at secluded coves where you can swim, snorkel or go kayaking in the clear water. A platform makes it easier for you to enter the sea. The captain's dinner on one evening of the cruise provides good entertainment on board.
