    • Comments about Norwegian Cruise Line
    • I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy the cruise, I did but there were some things that I didn't like. The first being the way the toilet facilities were configured in the stateroom, the second dealt with the shows on offer in the evening. There wasn't very much in terms of variety. In previous cruises I had taken there was a different show, that a family could watch, every night. This wasn't the case onboard the Epic so it made the evening somewhat boring when one watched the two shows on offer. How much time can one spend in a bar with a child before he gets bored? The other thing I didn't like dealt with getting of the ship at each port. There were some ports where we had to pay for a shuttle to take us to the city centre. This was not indicated to us whilst we were choosing which ship to cruise on. I believe that if one is paying so much money to take a cruise, the least the line could do is offer complimentary shuttle service to those just going to the city centre.
Finally, no free wi-fi on board the ship. Very, very disappointing. I mean $100 for 250 minutes is highway robbery. I could expect to pay something 10 -15 years ago when the Internet was still something new, but today the Internet has become an integral part of people's lives, expecting them to pay for a connection on their phone or tablet is unacceptable. If one has to use their Internet cafe to access, then yes, one should pay, but not if one has a machine that can access the Net. This was a common complaint I heard when speaking to others onbaord the ship.

    • Comments about the service of seascanner.com
    • Very efficient. Loved the quickness of the communication. One small constructive comment...offer onboard credit in your cruise packages. I spoke to some others on the ship who had booked with other Internet cruise providers. They came on board with at least $200 in on board credit and when I had enquired about this with the ship's guest service, I was told that this credit is offered by the travel agents and not by the cruise company itself.
