Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket is valid on DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German train stations (and Basel Badischer Bahnhof, Kufstein, Salzburg Hbf and Schaffhausen) on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC) and includes a free seat reservation, as well as the City Ticket. Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. For journeys over 100 km, the Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket can also be used on the day before the ship's departure and on the day after the ship's arrival.
- Seascanner Rail & Cruise SAVER: Save on your ticket price - The Seascanner Rail & Cruise SAVER is subject to a train connection after selecting the desired connection (does not apply to local trains; however, the journey must be completed by 10:00 AM on the following day). Rebooking/cancellation is not possible.
- Seascanner Rail & Cruise FLEX: Benefit from more flexibility - with Seascanner Rail & Cruise FLEX, you select the connection you want, but are then flexible in the use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). Rebooking/cancellation is possible on request.
After booking the Seascanner Rail & Cruise ticket, you will receive one voucher code per person and route. Redeem your voucher code on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired train connection from those displayed. - Information regarding the parking lot: Provision of a fenced and guarded parking lot near the port including transfer from the parking lot to the ship and back. Payment on arrival at the parking lot on site in cash or with EC card. You will receive all details as well as exact directions to your parking space approximately 14 days before your trip begins.
- Pricing and vehicle: Price per vehicle for the entire duration of the cruise including transfers. Early check-in (arrival between 8-10 AM) for 50 € surcharge. Motorhome surcharge depending on size 60-100 € per vehicle (only outdoor parking); electricity connection for 35 € per vehicle (electric car/motorhome) for up to 18 days cruises can be added on request.
- Repositionings: Hamburg 239 € per vehicle + parking lot rent, shuttle transfer for 60 € per person; Warnemuende/Kiel 309 € per vehicle + parking lot rent, shuttle transfer for 90 € per person.
- Cancellation fees: Cancellation free of charge up to 11 AM on the day of arrival, after that 100 %.
General information about TUI Cruises flight packages:
When booking a flight package for cruises at the PRO and PLUS rates, a Rail&Fly ticket in 2nd class for train travel to/from the airport within Germany (including Basel) is available at no extra charge. For Business Class guests, a 1st class ticket is included. Rail&Fly tickets are not available for cruises with a German port of departure and arrival.

Mein Schiff 3 has been sailing for TUI Cruises - Mein Schiff since May 2014. It is the first ship to be built from scratch by TUI Cruises - Mein Schiff. Mein Schiff 3 staterooms
All staterooms are modern and comfortably furnished. The standard interior, oceanview and balcony staterooms offer 17 sqm of space. 80% of the staterooms are balcony staterooms. The 17 sqm staterooms offer a very chic interior and well thought-out design with plenty of storage space. The balcony is relatively spacious and furnished with two chairs and a small table. There are also family staterooms, spa balcony staterooms and some very nice suites with plenty of space and comfort.
Mein Schiff 3 Atmosphere on board
The main onboard language is German. The atmosphere is relaxed - similar to an upscale club hotel. Especially middle-aged guests feel very comfortable on board. During the holidays many families are guests aboard. They appreciate the relaxed atmosphere, the possibility to do sports and the large variety of fine dining options. Almost all food, beverages and gratuities are already included in the cruise-price. This distinguishes TUI Cruises - Mein Schiff from other cruise lines.

Mein Schiff 3 Entertainment, Sports and Relaxation
The Diamond Bar at the stern offers a marvellous view of the sea with stylish evening entertainment. There is a show lounge where changing events take place: from acrobatics and musical shows to magic interludes or comedy shows. A whole team of around 50 singers, dancers and acrobats will enchant you. Cookery shows, a murder mystery dinner or pool deck parties: you will experience a lot! In the first concert hall at sea, the "Klanghaus", things are quieter. Classical concerts and readings are offered here. And if you want to turn night into day, the DJ in the "AbtanzBar" will play for you until the early hours of the morning.
There is a uniquely large pool on board in which you can swim 25 metre lengths. A large fitness area with a magnificent view leaves nothing to be desired and numerous aerobics classes offer something for practically everyone. The large wellness area offers a large sea view sauna, a steam bath and a lovely relaxation area. For a fee, you can choose from the extensive range of massages and "feel-good treatments" or arrange a sports lesson with a personal trainer. Sporting excursions are usually also offered on land: Unusual tours by mountain bike, paddle boat or diving and snorkelling excursions are on the programme in many ports.
Our summary
Mein Schiff 3 sets new standards in cruising. At the same time, the ship has been skilfully adapted and further developed to meet the wishes of German guests. The unique 25-metre pool is particularly impressive.
