About MSC Virtuosa
The stylish MSC Virtuosa sails to the most beautiful coastal cities in the Mediterranean. The naming of the MSC Virtuosa goes back to the word "virtuos". The individual decks of the ship were therefore named after famous composers. The MSC Virtuosa is a sister ship of the MSC Grandiosa. Among other things, this means even more space in the public areas. In addition, the ship has a shore power connection, which ensures reduced emissions. MSC Virtuosa Staterooms
MSC Virtuosa offers you a variety of different staterooms and suites, including amongst others family staterooms, maisonette suites with own whirlpool, ocenaview staterooms, single staterooms and many more. The size differs depending on the stateroom category from 12 to 22 sqm. Special family staterooms mostly consist of two or three staterooms which are combined with connecting doors. The smallest suites offer up to 39 sqm and the large maisonette suites up to 59 sqm on two decks. All staerooms and suites are modern and pleasant furnished and give you a comfortable home on board. Guests can also book a stateroom in the exclusive MSC Yacht Club with 103 Suited and extended VIP-option onboard. This is a separated area which can only be used by these guests and offers a variety of amenities, e. g. butler-service or a private restaurant. MSC Virtuosa children
There is plenty to discover on board for children of all ages: Thrill seekers can master a high rope course 80 metres above the sea. In the Savannah aqua park, pool areas and several slides, a funnel slide and two fast-paced tube slides, await for plenty of fun. In the LEGO® play area, children have the opportunity to build great things every day.
In various family game shows, children can challenge their parents or win prizes together as a family.
Childcare is also provided: babies and toddlers aged between six months and two years are looked after by certified staff in the Baby Club, which was created in collaboration with the leading children's brand Chicco®. Toddlers aged three to six play in the MSC Mini Club and the Junior Club looks after children aged seven to eleven. MSC's experienced entertainers look after the children with various games and many sporting activities. Tipps & Infos
Confirmation of stateroom numbers: Stateroom numbers are always confirmed by MSC Cruises under reserve, the cruise line reserves the right to change the stateroom after the booking.
MSC Voyages Club member numbers or vouchers: Please inform us about these within your reservation. The MSC Voyages Club member number has to be entered directly while booking in order to benefit from the club discount - if applicable for this cruise and rate - in order get it applied to the reservation.
Additional destination fees for cruise passengers: Some destinations charge a separate fee for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, among other things. MSC Cruises passes on these additional costs and charges them to your onboard account. This is currently the case for:
- Iceland: Mandatory for all passengers, approx. 18 € per day/person for each 24-hour stay, debited from the on-board account after departure from the port
- Greece: For all shore leavers, depending on the port/season varying fees (approx. 1-20 € per person/port), debited from the on-board account the evening before the respective call and, in case of remaining in the port on board, refunded within 24 hours
Recommendation: Changes of the hygiene, test, vaccination or entry requirements may occur shortly prior departure. We recommend to check the current regulations for travelers and returnees in time prior departure.
Required travel documents by MSC Cruises: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German citizens only require identity card or children up to the age of 14 a children's passport or ePassport; these documents need a validity of 6 months after the trip.
