The cabins aboard the Norwegian Gem are modern and comfortably furnished. All cabins feature twin beds or a double bed; some cabins also include a third and fourth bed, typically as a fold-down bunk bed. Family cabins are also available. Access requires a pass or a cabana for two people, which are available for the entire duration of the cruise. Since space is limited, reservations are recommended.

The Stardust Theater hosts major shows every day. A Las Vegas-style casino is available on board, as well as quieter spots like a card room, a library, an art gallery, and an internet café.
