The cabins aboard the Norwegian Gem are modern and comfortably furnished. Inside cabins measure approximately 12–25 sqm, outside cabins measure 12–17 sqm, and balcony cabins offer approximately 18–26 sqm of space. All cabins feature twin beds or a double bed; some cabins also include a third and fourth bed, typically as a fold-down bunk bed. Family cabins are also available. Access requires a pass or a cabana for two people, which are available for the entire duration of the cruise. Since space is limited, reservations are recommended.

The Stardust Theater hosts major shows every day. A Las Vegas-style casino is available on board, as well as quieter spots like a card room, a library, an art gallery, and an internet café.
