General information about TUI Cruises flight packages:
When booking a flight package for cruises at the PRO and PLUS rates, a Rail&Fly ticket in 2nd class for train travel to/from the airport within Germany (including Basel) is available at no extra charge. For Business Class guests, a 1st class ticket is included. Rail&Fly tickets are not available for cruises with a German port of departure and arrival.
Upgrades:
- PRO and PLUS fares: Rail&Fly ticket in 1st class 49 € per person/route
- PLUS fare: Rail&Fly ticket 2nd class 59 € per person/journey or Rail&Fly ticket 1st class for 99 € per person/journey

The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). Mein Schiff 7 sustainability
The Mein Schiff 7 is equipped with improved catalytic converters (nitrogen oxide reduction to Euro 6 standards). The engines will be powered by marine diesel, and in the future, operation with green methanol from renewable energy sources is also possible.
The ship also has a shore power connection for the use of electricity from the shore during port stays. TUI Cruises - Mein Schiff further insists that the shore power used is sustainably generated. Furthermore, the air conditioning system is operated with ozone-free coolants.
The Mein Schiff 7 also features more efficient waste processing thanks to an innovative waste management system that thermally shreds organic waste and directly processes it for further use as biochar for agriculture. A wastewater treatment system that meets strict HELCOM specifications for the Baltic Sea is also part of the ship's technology.
Mein Schiff 7 staterooms
The Mein Schiff 7 has a total of approximately 1,447 staterooms spread across 15 decks, most of which have their own balcony. From interior to oceanview and balcony staterooms, spa balcony staterooms, and even luxurious suites, there's something for every taste!
For solo travelers, both interior and oceanview single staterooms are available, both of which are specially designed for single travelers and each offer 8 sqm of space.
The standard interior, oceanview, and balcony staterooms with bright interiors can accommodate up to four people and are approximately 17 sqm in size.

TUI Cruises - Mein Schiff shore excursions: Please note that shore excursions are operated by local agencies. Sufficient German-speaking tour guides are not available in all locations. Therefore, it cannot be guaranteed that shore excursions will be conducted in German. The onboard excursion team will be happy to inform you.
Additional fees for cruise passengers: Some visited destinations levy a separate fee for cruise passengers, among other things to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism. TUI Cruises - Mein Schiff passes these additional costs on and charges them to your onboard account. This is currently the case for:
- Greece from summer 2027: For all those going ashore, fee amount varies depending on the port visited/season (approx. 1-20 € per person/port)
