Arrival & Departure Options
The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). When booking a flight package for cruises at the PRO and PLUS rates, a Rail&Fly ticket in 2nd class for train travel to/from the airport within Germany (including Basel) is available at no extra charge. For Business Class guests, a 1st class ticket is included. Rail&Fly tickets are not available for cruises with a German port of departure and arrival.

About Mein Schiff 2
In October 2017, the first steel block of the Mein Schiff 2, which replaces its predecessor of the same name since the beginning of 2019, was laid on the Meyer Turku shipyard. Latest technology, state-of-the-art equipment and environmentally friendly construction characterize the new member of the fleet. With about 315 meters, the Mein Schiff 2 is about 20 meters longer than the existing new ships. In addition to accommodating up to 2,894 passengers the ship also offers a larger selection of staterooms and suites.

There is a large number of changing events, from acrobatics and musical shows to magic interludes and comedy shows. A whole team of around 50 singers, dancers and acrobats will enchant you. Cookery shows, ‘murder mystery dinners’ or pool deck parties: you will experience a lot! And if you want to turn night into day, the DJ in the bar will play for you until the early hours of the morning. For those who like to exercise, there is plenty of sport on board: A large fitness area leaves nothing to be desired and numerous courses offer something for practically everyone. Sporting excursions are also usually offered on land: e.g. mountain bike or paddle boat tours. Diving and snorkelling excursions are also on the programme in many ports.
