Port information & tips for Rotterdam

Rotterdam is the dynamic architectural metropolis of the Netherlands and one of the most impressive ports of call for cruises in Northern Europe. Located directly on the banks of the Maas, the city captivates with its futuristic skyline and the maritime flair of the historic "Kop van Zuid" district. In the immediate vicinity of the terminal, the legendary Hotel New York, the iconic Erasmus Bridge, and the city's impressive museums fascinate visitors. Cruise ships dock at the central Cruise Port Rotterdam on the Wilhelminakade, from where guests can comfortably cross into the city center with the famous Markthal on foot or reach it in just a few minutes thanks to the direct connection to the metro.

Cruise Port Rotterdam at Kop van Zuid impresses with its central location directly at the famous Erasmus Bridge and offers guests from the DACH region a comfortable journey. The terminal is excellently integrated into the city's infrastructure and, thanks to its modern facilities, ensures a smooth start to your vacation.

Via the A15 and A16 motorways, you can reach the city center and the cruise terminal on Wilhelminakade directly from the direction of Germany. Specialized parking providers such as Cruise Parking Rotterdam or the parking garage in the World Port Center are available for cruise guests, offering secure long-term parking spaces in the immediate vicinity or with a convenient shuttle service.
