Airplane
The nearest airport is Rørvik Airport, Ryum (RVK), located about 7 kilometers southwest of the town. From there, you can easily reach the port by taxi in just about 7 minutes. Rørvik Airport is served by Widerøe and offers direct connections to Oslo and Trondheim, among others. For international travelers, it is therefore recommended to fly to Oslo Airport Gardermoen (OSL) or Trondheim Airport Værnes (TRD) with a subsequent connecting flight to RVK. Trondheim Airport (TRD) is approximately 157 kilometers away; the onward journey can be made via flight or a combination of train and ferry, but takes considerably longer.
Car
Arrival by car is possible via the coastal road Fv17, which winds through the scenic Norwegian landscape. The Fv770 leads directly to the town of Rørvik. Although Rørvik is located on an island, it is connected to the mainland via bridges. Public parking is available in Rørvik itself. Special "Park & Cruise" offers, like those in larger ports, are not common in this small fishing village, but suitable parking spaces can be found near the Hurtigruten quay.
