Lefkada is the only Greek island directly connected to the mainland by a bridge, making arrival by car possible without ferry costs. The island is well-connected to the Greek road network, particularly via the Preveza-Aktio underwater tunnel, which facilitates access from northwestern Greece and the ferry port of Igoumenitsa (a major gateway from Western and Central Europe). Given the often longer journey from the DACH region and to start your cruise relaxed, an overnight stay in one of the charming pre-cruise hotels in Nydri or nearby Lefkada Town is recommended.
Check-in & Embarkation
