Seabourn Quest Sustainability

The "Operation Oceans Alive" programme is part of Seabourn Cruise Line's sustainability work and aims to protect the oceans from environmental damage. To prevent food waste, a working group has been set up to improve waste management on board the ships. The programme also aims to reduce disposable items, improve the wastewater treatment system and reduce emissions.

Sustainability was also a priority during the most recent renovation. Among other things, this includes fitting some suites with biodegradable Cradle to Cradle wool carpets from Dansk Wilton, repurposing the old carpets into carpet underlay for future renovations, recycling the old mattresses, and donating select lounge furniture to local Italian nonprofit organizations.

Seabourn Quest Staterooms

All staterooms on board the Seabourn Quest are suites, each comfortably furnished. The suites without balconies feature large windows and measure approximately 26.2–27.4 sqm, while the Veranda Suites measure approximately 27.6–28 sqm (with a balcony of approximately 5.8–6.1 sqm). The Penthouse Suite and Penthouse Spa Suite impress with their sizes of approximately 40.5 sqm (approx. 7.8 sqm balcony) and approximately 49.7 sqm (approx. 18.5 sqm balcony). In the Owner’s Suite, you’ll have up to 62.7 sqm of space and can relax on the balcony, which ranges from about 13.8 to 19.6 sqm. Among the largest suites are the Signature Suite, with approximately 84.2 sqm (approx. 32.7 sqm balcony), and the Winter Garden Suite, which offers approximately 84.9 sqm (approx. 17 sqm balcony).

Atmosphere on board the Seabourn Quest

The atmosphere on board the Seabourn Quest is calm and sophisticated. During the day, you dress casually and elegantly according to the weather. During a week-long voyage, there is a formal evening where a dark suit, dinner jacket or cocktail dress is recommended. The age of the guests is mixed, but predominantly over 50 and there are very few children on board. English is spoken on the Seabourn Quest.

We also recommend the Observation Bar, which offers breathtaking panoramic views and live music.

On board the Seabourn Quest, you can look forward above all to a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Let yourself be pampered in the spa area with a body massage or facial treatment (for a fee) or relax in the sauna or whirlpool. The fitness area is perfect for those who want to stay active on holiday. Live music, cabaret and classical concerts, e.g. in the Grand Salon or try your luck in the casino, provide the perfect evening entertainment.
