From the A7 (Fulda-Ulm), you can reach Ochsenfurt via the Marktbreit junction, only about 8 kilometers away, or alternatively via Gollhofen. In Ochsenfurt, around 700 parking spaces are available in the vicinity of the old town, including a large parking lot directly on the banks of the Main and a parking garage at Jahnstraße 2.
Train
Ochsenfurt station is located on the Würzburg-Treuchtlingen railway line and is served hourly by Regional-Express (RE 80) and Regionalbahn (RB 80) trains. From here, there are direct connections to Würzburg, Treuchtlingen, Augsburg, and Munich. From Würzburg, you also benefit from IC connection options towards Nuremberg, Munich, and Frankfurt. The station is only about 0.7 kilometers from the city center, and the pier as well as the old town are easily accessible on foot. At the station forecourt, you will also find bus connections and a taxi rank for short distances.
Airplane
The nearest major airport is Nuremberg (NUE), around 75.5 kilometers away, with a travel time of about 60 minutes. Alternatively, Frankfurt Airport (FRA) is an option, which is located about 115.3 kilometers away and can be reached in around 90 minutes by car. For onward travel to the port of Ochsenfurt, the train connection via Würzburg is recommended from both airports to reach your river cruise ship in a relaxed manner and without parking worries.
