Train
Torquay station is the nearest railway station to the harbor and is about a 15-minute walk or a short taxi ride away. Although there are no direct long-haul flights from the DACH region to Exeter, the airport is well-connected via transfer flights, for example through London or Manchester. A taxi or a pre-booked shuttle service are the most convenient transfer options to Torquay. Alternatively, Heathrow (LHR) or Gatwick (LGW) serve as larger international airports, though these require a longer onward journey to Torquay by train or rental car, making an arrival the day before recommended.
