Airplane
Montréal-Trudeau International Airport (YUL) is located approximately 20 kilometers west of the terminal and is served directly from Frankfurt, Munich, and Zurich by Lufthansa, Air Canada, or Swiss. Thanks to its convenient location, you can reach the port in about 20 to 30 minutes by car, with the journey via Autoroute 20 and Autoroute 720 (Ville-Marie) leading directly into the city center.
Transfer & Parking
Numerous taxis are available from the airport to the Grand Quai at a current fixed price of approximately 50 CAD, and ride-sharing services like Uber operate reliably throughout the city. For guests arriving by rental car, the terminal at Grand Quai offers secure long-term parking for the duration of the cruise, although prior reservation via the port authority is advisable due to the limited capacity of approximately 300 spaces.
Train & Pre-Cruise Hotel
The central Gare Centrale station is only about two kilometers from the port and offers convenient VIA Rail connections from cities such as Toronto or Quebec City. Due to the six-hour time difference, an overnight stay in one of the charming boutique hotels in Vieux-Montréal is recommended for guests from the DACH region to start the cruise relaxed while exploring sights like the Notre-Dame Basilica within walking distance of the ship.
