The town welcomes its visitors with a peaceful flair that harmoniously combines historic buildings and the untouched nature of the Oder lowlands. Among the most significant highlights are the late Gothic town parish church of the Elevation of the Holy Cross, as well as the striking town hall tower and the well-preserved medieval town walls.
