The VIVA Voyage is one of the oldest ships in the fleet and was built in 2005. Following a comprehensive refurbishment in the winter of 2022/2023, the river cruise ship has joined the VIVA Cruises fleet. Thanks to the warm and welcoming atmosphere and facilities, the maximum of 152 passengers quickly feel at home.
The Ruby and Diamond Deck are connected by a lift. The other decks are accessed via a few steps.
All staterooms are air-conditioned and feature modern, comfortable furnishings. Standard amenities in all categories include a television, a complimentary minibar, RITUALS® beauty products, a hairdryer and a safe. Naturally, all staterooms and suites also have their own en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet.
The outside staterooms with windows measure approx. 15 sqm and are located on the lowest deck, the Emerald Deck. Due to the cabin’s position, the window cannot be opened.
The outside staterooms with French balconies are located on the decks above. These are also approx. 15 sqm in size.
In addition, there are six junior suites with French balconies on board the VIVA Voyage. These offer more space and a cosy seating area with a table. The junior suites measure approx. 19 sqm.
On VIVA Cruises’ ships, you’ll enjoy an international yet friendly atmosphere, thanks to the small number of passengers and the multilingual staff on board. The comfortable décor reinforces this impression, making you feel as though you’re staying in a good hotel on land.
Passengers often include couples or solo travellers, who are on average slightly younger than is typical for river cruises.
At VIVA Cruises, the focus is on providing excellent culinary delights throughout your holiday. They achieve this through a varied selection of dishes, high-quality menus and regional produce.
In the main restaurant, RIVERSIDE, you can start the day with a hearty breakfast buffet. Multi-course menus are served for lunch and dinner.
If you fancy a bit more variety in the evening, the French bistro VINO VINO is also available.
Once per cruise, you can also enjoy a high tea with a selection of delicious sweet and savoury treats, as well as various types of tea.
A favourite spot for many travellers is the Panorama Salon at the bow of the ship. The bar is also located here, and you can enjoy a leisurely afternoon cappuccino whilst marvelling at the passing scenery through the panoramic windows. There are also various entertainment options here during the day and in the evening, some featuring live music.
For a bit of peace and quiet, we recommend a visit to the sun deck. Here you can relax in the hot tub or on a sun lounger. The wellness facilities are complemented by a sauna and a steam bath in the wellness area on the Emerald Deck.
For your shore excursions, you can borrow bicycles free of charge from reception.
Following its refurbishment, the VIVA Voyage is a fantastic addition to the fleet and impresses us with its cosy interiors and the two restaurants, RIVERSIDE and VINO VINO. The wellness facilities and the large Panorama Salon at the bow are among the highlights for us.
