On the VistaRio, environmentally friendly practices are standard. Efficient operations and reduced water and energy consumption ensure that the environmental impact of all river cruises is kept to a minimum.

This commitment to sustainability also extends to the newest addition to the 1AVista fleet: The VistaQueen, which will enter service in 2028, combines innovative environmental technologies with modern comfort and redefines sustainable vacations on the water.

Each of the approximately 12.5 sqm outside cabins aboard the VistaRio features twin beds that can be separated, as well as a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. In addition, the cabins are equipped with air conditioning/heating, satellite TV, a hair dryer, and a safe.

While the cabins on the upper deck feature floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that open (French balconies), the mid-deck cabins also offer large windows that open. On the main deck, smaller, fixed windows provide natural light. A limited number of double cabins are available for single occupancy for solo travelers.

On board the VistaRio, you’ll enjoy a warm and relaxed vacation atmosphere. As the riverside scenery passes by, you’ll have plenty of time to breathe deeply, explore, and feel at ease. An attentive crew and experienced cruise management team will ensure your personal well-being at all times. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Smart casual attire is requested for dinner, while smart casual attire is requested for the farewell dinner (no formal evening wear).

Restaurant on the Middle Deck: In this stylish restaurant, the 1AVista ALL INCLUSIVE dining plan features varied multi-course menus showcasing fine European cuisine. Vegetarian dishes are also available. In the afternoon, coffee, tea, and cake invite you to linger, while a late-night snack rounds out the day. 

The Panorama Lounge with its bar and the Stern Lounge provide the perfect setting for relaxing and reflecting on the day over a drink. A wide selection of complimentary beverages—including house wine, draft beer, soft drinks, juices, mineral water, coffee, and tea—is included from 8:00 a.m. to midnight.

Depending on the cruise itinerary, the VistaRio offers a variety of activities and social gatherings, including lively live music, entertaining quiz nights, and a wide range of themed events. Those who prefer a more relaxed break can enjoy the small onboard library or the enticing selection of games. Bicycles are also available for rent (for a fee) for spontaneous shore excursions on your own.

The cruise staff on board will be happy to help you plan your shore excursions and provide useful tips for exploring on your own. They will also assist you in booking fee-based excursions offered by local tour operators directly on board (unless these were booked in advance as part of a package). Modern, portable audio systems ensure a thoroughly enjoyable experience on many of these optional tours.
