In total, the VistaLilea has 78 staterooms located on the main, middle and upper decks. Most staterooms feature a French balcony.

All staterooms are equipped as standard with a safe, television, telephone, hairdryer and an en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. Naturally, the staterooms are also fitted with individually adjustable air conditioning.

For solo travellers, outside staterooms on the main and middle decks or staterooms with a French balcony on the upper deck can be booked for a small supplement.

On the lowest deck, the main deck, are the outside staterooms with smaller windows. The staterooms measure approximately 11 square metres and, unfortunately, the windows cannot be opened due to the staterooms’ location. There are two single beds, which cannot be pushed together.

The standard staterooms on the middle deck, just like the mini-suites, feature large panoramic windows that do not open. The two beds in the standard staterooms are separate, and the staterooms measure approximately 11 square metres.

The mini-suites, which measure approximately 14 square metres, can accommodate up to four people. In addition to the double bed, there are also up to two Pullman beds, making them ideal for families travelling together.

The most popular staterooms are the superior and deluxe staterooms on the middle and upper decks, as these feature a French balcony and measure approximately 14 square metres.

At the start of the journey, guests in the staterooms on the upper deck will be welcomed with a delicious fruit platter and a bottle of sparkling wine.

Life on board is characterised by a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Accordingly, there is no strict dress code, although smart casual attire is always appreciated.

The VistaLilea is mainly popular amongst couples and solo travellers. Families are rarely found on board.

On board the VistaLilea, there is one restaurant and one bar at your disposal.

The restaurant serves a generous buffet breakfast in the mornings. For lunch and dinner, multi-course set menus are served at your table. The dishes are inspired by European cuisine. Vegetarian options are available. Other dietary requirements can be met if these are communicated to 1AVista Reisen before the start of the trip. 

For those feeling peckish between meals, there is an afternoon tea and a late-night snack. 

A wide selection of drinks is included in the price of the trip from 8 am to midnight. This includes drinks served both in the restaurant and at the bar.

Depending on the cruise, there is a varied programme featuring, amongst other things, themed evenings, live music and talks. The entertainment usually takes place in the panorama salon, which also has a dance floor. On board, you can also borrow books, board games and card games.

There is no sports or wellness area. However, you can take a stroll in the fresh air on the sun deck or relax in the small hot tub.

There are no designated children’s areas on board the VistaLilea.

Children travel free of charge provided they are travelling in a stateroom with two full-paying adults or with one full-paying adult in a stateroom for their sole use.

To help you plan your trip, you will receive information on the excursions available during your holiday as part of your travel documents. Shore excursions can be booked either individually or as a package. Please note that the excursion package can only be booked before the start of your holiday.

You can hire bicycles from reception for your own shore excursions for a fee.

All in all, the VistaLilea is a solid river cruise ship. It is a bit on the old side, but it has all the essentials for a relaxing time on board.
