1AVista takes specific measures to conserve resources. Its more modern ships, such as the VistaStar, are equipped with solar panels, among other features, to make energy consumption more environmentally friendly. Future newbuilds, such as the VistaQueen, which will join the fleet in 2028, will be equipped with state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly technology.

All staterooms on the VistaClassica are equipped with a shower/toilet, hair dryer, satellite TV, safe, refrigerator, desk with chair, and individually controlled air conditioning/heating. The outside staterooms feature two single beds, while the junior suites are furnished with a double bed.

On the main deck, there are outside staterooms measuring approx. 12 sqm with windows that can be opened in the upper third. The staterooms with French balconies are also approx. 12 sqm in size, are located on the upper deck, and feature a floor-to-ceiling panoramic window that opens. Additionally, junior suites with French balconies measuring approx. 18 sqm are available on the upper deck. In the junior suites, you’ll enjoy a larger bathroom with a window that does not open.

Please note that staterooms in the ODA and OD1 categories are accessible only by stairs, and engine noise and vibrations may be more noticeable in these staterooms while the ship is underway.

For your dogs, you’ll find a dog bed, water and food bowls, as well as a small welcome gift in the stateroom.

Since there are only 55 staterooms on board and therefore a maximum of 110 guests the atmosphere is particularly personal and intimate. In addition, the comfortably furnished interior spaces, the wellness area, and the sun deck provide the perfect setting for relaxation. During the day, the cruise line recommends comfortable, casual clothing, while smart casual attire is required for dinner; shorts and swimwear are not permitted.

On board the VistaClassica, all meals are served in the included restaurant on the main deck. A generous breakfast buffet awaits you, while lunch and dinner feature multi-course menus with European cuisine and vegetarian options. In addition to the main meals, coffee, tea, and cake are served in the afternoon, along with a late-night snack.

In the Panorama Lounge with bar, you can admire the view while enjoying a drink. Your dog is also welcome here and may join you on the sofa as long as you cover it with a blanket or towel.

The 1AVista ALL INCLUSIVE meal plan includes full board and, between 8:00 a.m. and midnight, an open bar and table beverages such as house wine, draft beer, soft drinks, lemonade, juices, mineral water, coffee, and tea.

Bowls are available in your stateroom for your dog, so you can serve the food you’ve brought along. You’ll also find bowls with fresh water in the public areas. Please note that we recommend not taking your dog into the restaurant if possible, as long as your dog can stay alone in the stateroom.

Enjoy the view of the passing landscape from the partially covered sun deck, complete with comfortable lounge chairs and a dog park, or browse the display cases on board for souvenirs you can purchase at the reception desk. Pure relaxation awaits you in the wellness area, which features an indoor pool and sauna. Depending on the route, a variety of themed evenings, live music, lectures, and quiz shows provide entertainment. In addition, a dog trainer is on board to provide additional activities and is happy to offer tips.

You may bring your four-legged friend on a leash into almost all public areas. Only the wellness area is reserved for humans.

Children between the ages of 2 and 5 travel free of charge in the accompanying adult’s bed if they are accommodated with two full-fare passengers in a 2-bed stateroom or with one full-fare passenger in a double stateroom for single occupancy.

Children and teenagers aged 6 to 12 travel free of charge in select stateroom categories (triple stateroom with two full-fare passengers or a double stateroom for single occupancy with one full-fare passenger).

Please note that children and teenagers can only travel free of charge subject to availability and only on select voyages.

You can book and pay for organized shore excursions on board with the cruise management on the upper deck. These excursions are run by local agencies and are typically walking tours where you can easily bring your dogs along. A portable audio system is available for many of the excursions. You’ll receive more information about the excursions on board on the day of arrival.

The cruise management will be happy to provide tips for individual shore excursions. A few bicycles are also available for a fee. In addition, the docking times are scheduled so that you can take your dog for regular walks during shore excursions.

When you leave the VistaClassica for a shore excursion, you must exchange your stateroom card for a shore excursion pass at the reception desk. As soon as you return on board, your stateroom card will be returned to you in exchange for the shore excursion pass. This allows 1AVista to verify that all guests have returned on board after a shore excursion.
