This approach is further emphasised by the new vessel, the VistaQueen, which will join the 1AVista fleet in 2028. Equipped with state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly technology and a contemporary interior, the ship sets new standards for comfortable and more sustainable river cruising.

The Gentleman features exclusively comfortable outside staterooms, which are modern and tastefully furnished with high-quality fittings. The staterooms on the main deck measure approx. 13 sqm and have smaller windows that cannot be opened. On the middle and upper decks, the staterooms measure approx. 14 sqm and feature floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that can be opend (French balconies as infinity windows). The Deluxe staterooms measure approx. 16 sqm, whilst the spacious suites, at approx. 21 sqm, offer plenty of room to relax.

Facilities include a shower/WC, hairdryer, a double bed, satellite TV, telephone, air conditioning/heating, a safe and a minibar. Staterooms with VIP service also welcome their guests with a fruit platter and a bottle of sparkling wine – for a special start to the journey.

The following restaurants are included in the price:

• Restaurant on the middle deck: In this stylish restaurant, varied multi-course menus featuring fine European cuisine are served as part of the 1AVista ALL INCLUSIVE catering package. Vegetarian dishes are also available.

In the afternoon, coffee, tea and cake invite you to linger, whilst a late-night snack rounds off the day.

For a cosy evening, the panorama salon with bar and the lounge at the stern provide the perfect setting to reflect on the day over a drink. A wide range of drinks, including house wine, draught beer, soft drinks, juices, mineral water, coffee and tea, are included from 8.00 am to midnight.

On board the Gentleman, the focus is above all on relaxed enjoyment and socialising. Depending on the itinerary, live music, themed evenings and quiz nights provide a varied programme of entertainment. On the spacious sun deck, you can enjoy the passing scenery in a relaxed atmosphere. A small fitness and wellness area rounds off the facilities on offer.

Enhance your river cruise on the Gentleman with a variety of shore excursions and discover interesting towns, sights and landscapes along the route. The stopovers are scheduled so that you can explore the destinations at your leisure, either on organised excursions or on your own.

The organised excursions are run by local agencies and arranged by the 1AVista cruise management team. You can book and pay for individual excursions conveniently on board. A portable audio guide system is available for many of the excursions.

Those who prefer to explore independently will be happy to receive tips on board for private shore excursions. Even if you have reduced mobility, the local guides will be happy to advise you on suitable accommodation options.

On river cruises departing from Passau and Cologne, you can save money with an excursion package. This can only be booked in advance, quoting your booking number, and cannot be booked on board during the cruise.
