Norwegian Cruise Line pursues a comprehensive sustainability programme (Sail & Sustain) that aims to protect the environment, preserve the oceans and reduce the ecological footprint of its ships in the long term. This includes waste reduction, recycling programmes, energy-saving systems on board and the elimination of single-use plastic bottles. The cruise line also relies on modern technologies such as lower-emission propulsion systems and shore power connections in ports. A key goal is to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.

The Norwegian Aura has a total of 1,976 staterooms available – from studios for solo travellers to exclusive suites. The modern and comfortably furnished accommodations range from interior and oceanview staterooms measuring approx. 9 to 34 sqm, to balcony staterooms measuring 21 to 33 sqm, to junior suites measuring approx. 22 to 38 sqm. The spacious suites, ranging from 37 to 59 sqm, not only offer plenty of space but also impressive ocean views.

The suites in the exclusive "The Haven by Norwegian" area range in size from 34 to 195 sqm. Designed by renowned designer Piero Lissoni, the suites combine stylish elegance with maximum privacy. Guests have access to a private sun deck with an infinity pool, whirlpools and outdoor sauna, as well as an exclusive bar, lounge and private restaurant. The offer is complemented by special amenities such as butler and concierge service, preferred boarding and priority reservations.

A special highlight is the new Ocean Heights on decks 18 to 21 – a spectacular adventure area for the whole family. Here you will find most of the slides in the NCL fleet, including the over 120-metre-long Eclipse Racers, the rapid drop slide Aura Free Fall, The Wave and the classic The Drop, which plunges ten decks down. A high ropes course, climbing wall and mini golf provide additional fun and action.

The elegant Ocean Boulevard invites you to stroll along the sea on its spacious promenade areas, while the exclusive Vibe Beach Club offers adults a stylish oasis of calm with comfortable loungers, a private atmosphere and first-class service.

Young guests will also find plenty to enjoy aboard the Norwegian Aura. The Kids' Aqua Park on the upper decks offers a splash pad and interactive water games right next to Ocean Heights on Deck 18 – ideal for lots of wet fun. This includes two family-friendly water slides: the Party Slide, a wide, shallow slide for shared adventures, and the Infinity Loop, an exciting figure-eight slide that winds around the Party Slide.

On Deck 19, Horizon Park invites you to enjoy outdoor lawn games and comfortable seating. The offer is complemented by age-appropriate clubs, creative workshops and interactive play areas, so that children of all ages can enjoy exciting adventures and unforgettable moments at sea.

Childcare is also provided: for the youngest guests aged 6 months to 4 years, there is the Guppies programme, where parents can use the play area together with their children. Children aged 3 to 12 are in good hands at the Splash Academy, which includes optional evening childcare for a fee. Teenagers aged 13 to 17 will find their own meeting place at the Entourage Club. Childcare may vary depending on the route and ship.
