Nordlys from Hurtigruten : Everything you need to know
The Nordlys is named after the spectacular northern lights and has its furniture inspired from them. It was built in 1995 and was renovated in 2019. It offers place for up to 590 crusaders. For your entertainment, there are large panoramic salons with great views, a restaurant, a bar, a fitness room with a sauna and much more. And also on the Nordlys is a motivated expedition team, which offers daily presentations and evening events.

Sutainability
As the first cruise line Hurtigruten has banned all single-use plastic from its fleed. These things, e. g. straws oder plastic bags will be replaced by paper or other biological disposable material.
Atmosphere on baord the Nordlys
To create your cruise interesting, there is a sauna, a fitness room, a whirlpool and an expedition team on board. On the car deck you can park your car whilst the cruise. There are two restaurants, the main restaurant 'Torget' and the a la carte restaurant 'Kysten Fine Dining'. It serves innovative dishes based on high-quality, local and fresh seafood. Besides dinner even for lunch there are corresponding lunch options. Additional to that, there is the popular Hurtigruten Multe bakery and icebar.

You can enjoy the unqiue view from the explorer lounge and the panoramic bar. Here you have a perfect view on the northern lights, the midnight sun and the wildlife. The activity centre is the main quarter of the experts on board. After an exciting day of shore excursions you can relax in the sauna or the outside whirlpools.
