Maud from Hurtigruten : Everything you need to know
Maud was named after one of the most famous arctic ships of all times: Roald Amundsens "Maud" from 1917. She can take up to 530 travellers. The furniture will be comfortable, modern and made of natural materials. There are three restaurants and several public ares on board. The wellness area will be equipped with fitness equipment and there will be a whirlpool. Furthermore, there will be an expeditionteam onboard which will hold presentations or speeches.

Sustainability
The ship was developed under consideration of sustainability. She will be equipped with battery packs that reduce emissions and will be charged in port. As the first cruise line Hurtigruten has banned all single-use plastic from its fleed. These things, e. g. straws oder plastic bags will be replaced by paper or other biological disposable material.
Atmosphere on board the Maud

There are three restaurants onboard: The main restaurant Aune, the specialty restaurant Lindstrom and the bistro Fredheim. In the main restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in a scandinavian style. The specialty restaurant will serve high cuisine with traditional norwegian food. In the bitro you can enjoy street food.
