Hurtigruten is a traditional norwegian cruise line. Since 1893 it is active in the mailboat service along the norwegian fjord coast. Every day one of the 11 mailboats starts in Bergen to the 12 day post ship route. Meanwhile Hurtigruten also offers exciting expedition cruises through South America, the Antarctica and lots of other destinations. They always focus on sustainability, that's why the ships all sail with sustainable fuel and they don't want to pollute the environment in which they sail. Rubbish collecting is only one of the interesting shore excursions.

The ship was developed under consideration of sustainability. She will be equipped with battery packs that reduce emissions and will be charged in port. As the first cruise line Hurtigruten has banned all single-use plastic from its fleed. These things, e. g. straws oder plastic bags will be replaced by paper or other biological disposable material.

To create your cruise interesting, there is a fitness room, a sauna, a fitness room, a whirlpool and an expedition team. If you are a discoverer, you will feel great onboard of this ship.

There are three restaurants onboard: The main restaurant Aune, the specialty restaurant Lindstrom and the bistro Fredheim. In the main restaurant breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served in a scandinavian style. The specialty restaurant will serve high cuisine with traditional norwegian food. In the bitro you can enjoy street food.

The heart of the ship is the science center with modern technology and science equipment. You can enjoy speeches or go to the wellness area to relax.
