- well designed cabin with excellent shower, regular room servicing on request.. conducive to good long sleeps!

- What do you like the most aboard the ship Costa Smeralda?
- Smeralda is a very big ship but with poor weather and few people going on deck, the inside facilities, esp the buffet, was overcrowded, awkward and very messy. Otherwise it is a well designed ship and on good weather the crowds would be more spaced out with less overcrowding. The staff were excellent on every level and were patient with the very demanding clientelle.
- Would you like to note some more short remarks about the ship Costa Smeralda?
- Cruising on Costa Smeralda previously was more enjoyable as it wasn't over crowded as it was on this occasion. Though the staff were polite and endeavored to provide top class service the same cannot be said for many of the guests who appeared to have left their manners on shore... or had forgotten the importance of saying PLEASE and especially THANK YOU to the staff who were doing their best. Though the ship was full, it shouldn't have given guests a licence to bully, demand and be generally rude to fellow passengers and staff.

- I have always had excellent service from Seascanner.. )on this occasion all letters and documents onboard the cruise were in german in response to booking through seascanner.. this was not a big issue as i could use an online translator).. i also got some extra privileges compared to other passengers by booking through Seascanner.
