  • The cabin was kept always clean. Maybe a bit more space would have helped, but overall our family of 4 fitted well.

  • Being a new ship one expects some shortcomings. In our experience, we noted the following:
    - at the Market place buffet, the drinks order and serving is very very slow. At times, drinks took more than 15 minutes to be served. In fact at times, we just left from the table. More bar staff should be allocated to cater for this huge restaurant.
    
    -Colorado river Restaurant menu - Compared to the menu at La Loggia restaurant in MSC Grandiosa, the menu is very primitive. Also there was no children's menu available for the kids. When we ordered the plain steak for my children, it was a bit hard to chew, and in fact at times we had to go to Market place afterwards, so the kids could eat.
    
    Entertainment- Again compared to MSC Grandiosa, the entertainment was not so spectacular - most of the times the Piazza (Galleria Deck 6) was empty after the theatre show, where compared to Grandiosa, there were always parties and lots of music and crowds. Here it was quite. The only time the was some fun was the last night when it was Circus theme. There was quite a hype and we all enjoyed it.

  • Better planning should be made during the organisation of shore excursions
    When we used the tender boats in Nordfjordied, we had to queue for more than 1hr in the rain. It was quite a disappointing end to a beautiful day spent at the Briksdal Glacier.
    With regards to the boat excursion in Flam, 4 hours on a boat was too long and boring. Maybe a shorter ride with a possibility for a walk or disembark the ship would be better. Our meeting time for this outing was at 11.45am at the Carousel, where at 12pm we were still there waiting. At 4.20pm the boat docked at the port and we had to run back to the ship as it had to leave Flam at 4.30pm. We had no possibility to roam around afterwards. Maybe better planning either of the excursion time or the departure of the ship time should be taken in consideration.
