- After seeing huge amount of negative reviews i was little bit worried about how our cruise is going to play out. In the end I have to say our fears were not happening, everything went very smoothly. As I have travelled with Royal Caribbean before as well, i believe that majority of the negative feedback is coming from US citizens who are used to the totally overboard luxury which actually made me feel little bit uncomfortable in RCS. Everything was luxurious at Costa Smeralda as well, but just a notch lower than RCS. Also feedback on staff not speaking english was proven not to be true, they are far from mother tongue speakers but everything could be handled and we did not get our orders wrong even once.

- Embarkation went very smoothly. Only thing was that the bags were left outside of the cabin which made me little bit nervous as somebody (on the cruise) could have easily stolen them or went through them for valuables. But no problem there either in the end.
  
  The shore excursions experiences were very different, one was very good and worth the money, the another was expensive bus ride to city and walking around marseilles with actually nothing that important to see. Notre Dame Cathedral for example but not the basilisk which is the actual sight to see.
