  • Cabin was very nice, food was good during lunch and evening but only in the restaurants. The buffet restaurants were manic so we only ate there once. Waiting staff were very good in the evening in the red velvet lounge but morning and lunchtime staff were not as friendly or as professional. Very difficult to get someone to serve drinks and staff could have been friendlier. Daytime entertainment was fun but far too loud. During sea days it is extremely difficult to obtain any sun loungers or chairs as passengers take them in the morning and leave their towels on them for the whole day and most passengers were gone for hours and hardly used their chairs. Staff should have taken towels off the beds and given them to others who wanted to sit down. So a day at sea was not one of our best experiences. Evening entertainment was very good. There was a lot of confusion onboard about drinks packages. We had booked our cruise the year before and had a premium package but this had changed when we were onboard and we were given a cheaper package onboard which we were not happy about. Also we decided to tip staff that we thought did a great job so we took away the daily gratuities and gave our tips to those who truly deserved it. We were happy we did that as many of the staff were not helpful nor friendly.
