- We booked this cruise to see the wild life in Svalbard, First of all we tried to book the excursions online about 10 months ago when we booked the cruise but we couldn't and when we arrived on board we booked one with a black closed rib boat for 5 and a half hours for 305 Euros to go and see the wild life because the polar boat was already booked for about 1 year before. The problem was that where over bookings and confusion in all excursions, the one that we booked was a 5 and half hour boat trip and when we arrived to go to the boat trip we where advised that the boat trip was out of order so we travelled all that distance from Malta for nothing because the Highlights of this cruise was Longyearbyen or Svalbard. So as you can see it was a disaster *money down the drain*
On board we were about 5,700 passengers and there were only excursions for about 2,000 passengers.
MSC Meraviglia is a good promoter but a very well cheating organization.
This was our 8th cruise, we never had such a bad experience and we never been cheated like MSC Meraviglia at Svalbard.
We spoke to the tour Manager and he told us that he will arrange something for us but we are back at home and this was just all bla bla bla.
By the way this was our 6th cruise with MSC but unfortunately this will be the last one.
