Speyer is one of Germany's oldest cities and a magnificent cultural jewel directly on the picturesque banks of the Rhine. As an alternative, Stuttgart Airport (STR) is about 110 kilometers away and, thanks to the good motorway network, allows for a swift onward journey by rental car or shuttle to the harbor.

From the UNESCO World Heritage Site Speyerer Dom or the central Maximilianstraße, you can stroll back directly to the banks of the Rhine in about ten to fifteen minutes through the extensive Domgarten. The bus line 565 operates as a City-Shuttle at regular intervals between Domplatz and the car park at the Technik Museum, providing you with a comfortable return journey directly from the heart of the city. Thanks to this connection, you can reach the immediate vicinity of the ship piers quickly and enjoy the remaining time until departure in a relaxed manner.
