Since the historic center of Dürnstein is small and easy to navigate, you can simply stroll back to the waterfront via the picturesque Hauptstraße. Follow the clear signage towards the Danube or the ship landing stages, which will lead you directly to the docks via short descents and ramps.
Taxi
If you prefer a comfortable ride, you will find taxis at the official parking lots at the entrance to the town, such as parking lot P1 (East). Additionally, the receptions of central hotels, such as Hotel Richard Löwenherz, will be happy to order a vehicle for you, which will take you safely to the port within a few minutes.
Bus and Ferry
The regional buses of line WL1 stop at the Dürnstein West and Ost stations, from where you have a short walk to the landing stages. Furthermore, the motor ferry connects the town regularly with the opposite bank in Rossatz, so that you can return to your ship punctually and directly even after an excursion to the other side of the river.
