The Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket can only be used in conjunction with an international flight to/from a German airport or to/from Salzburg and Basel (for flights to/from Amsterdam, Zurich, Brussels and Vienna, this service is available on request for an additional charge). It applies to DB (Deutsche Bahn) routes from all German stations on all scheduled regular trains (including ICE, IC and EC). Unfortunately, a BahnCard discount cannot be granted. Children (up to and including 14 years of age) travel free of charge when accompanied by their parents/grandparents. The Rail&Fly can be used on the day before the outbound flight and on the day after the return flight.
You will receive a voucher code per person and route after the booking of the Seascanner Rail&Fly ticket. The voucher codes can be reedemed on kreuzfahrtberater.bahnanreise.de by selecting the desired connection from those displayed. You will then receive the digital ticket as a PDF download and/or by e-mail. Nevertheless, you are flexible in your use of the trains (provided you keep the selected route and travel day). Über Explora III
The Explora III is the third ship in the Explora Journeys fleet to set sail. Compared to the previous ships, the Explora III is larger and therefore offers extensive outdoor decks and 461 spacious suites. The ship has been designed to focus on the guest experience with a luxuriously thought-out design and plenty of space.

Explora III Sustainability
The Explora III is the first ship in the Explora fleet to be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG). This almost completely eliminates emissions such as sulphur oxides and nitrogen oxides.
In addition, the entire fleet will be equipped with the latest environmental and marine technologies, including selective catalytic reduction technology, a shore power connection, underwater noise protection systems to protect marine life and a comprehensive range of energy-efficient equipment on board.
Explora III staterooms (suites)
All 461 suites feature floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious terraces, luxurious bathrooms, and a walk-in closet with seating. The most exclusive suite on board is the Owner’s Residence. Designed by Patricia Urquiola, it measures approximately 315 square meters, including the balcony. There is one additional Owner’s Suite on board. Both suites feature two bedrooms and offer further amenities, such as a personal Residence Manager who takes care of every detail of your stay. The Ocean Suites start at a size of approximately 35 square metres, whilst the Ocean Penthouses measure up to 69 square metres (including the balcony). The Ocean Residences impress not only with their total size of up to 149 square metres, but also with a 24-hour butler service and, in some cases, a private hot tub on the balcony.

- Experience the finest pan-Asian dishes at Sakura.
- For example, savour hand-picked meat in the Marble & Co. Grill.
- Taste exclusive wines with international dishes at Fil Rouge.

The Explora III offers you countless shopping opportunities. The Journey offers you a unique collection of over 30 brands that share a commitment to people and planet. You will also find four exclusive flagship boutiques on board from some of the world's most coveted luxury brands.
The “Ocean Wellness” spa area has been redesigned and now includes Ocean Wellness - The Spa, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center, created in collaboration with Technogym and featuring the latest training equipment. In addition, there is the unique open-air fitness area on deck 14, where guests can work out in the open air while enjoying the view of the water.
Special areas have been added to the Nautilus Club to cater for children and teenagers. Here, a team of experienced hosts ensures that younger guests also experience unforgettable moments.
Explora III children
Explora Journeys is pleased to welcome guests of all ages on board. The Nautilus Club is available for children. On board the Explora III, the Nautilus Club is further divided into the Nautilus Club Junior and the Nautilus Club Teens.
The Nautilus Club Junior welcomes children ages 3–11, who are supervised daily by the Nautilus Hosts. Children under 3 years of age may play there with their parents.
The Nautilus Club Teens is reserved for teens ages 12–17. The focus here is on entertaining teens with exciting activities.
Explora III shore excursions
The shore excursions offered by Explora Journeys are called "Destination Experiences." These are carefully curated excursions that provide you with an in-depth look at the culture, history, nature, and culinary highlights of each port of call.
The offerings range from small-group cultural tours to exclusive, one-of-a-kind adventures designed specifically for luxury travelers. You can book these excursions directly in your guest profile before your trip or, depending on availability, onboard.

Tipps & Infos
Additional destination fees for cruise passengers: Some destinations charge a separate fee for cruise passengers to support local infrastructure and promote sustainable tourism, among other things. Explora Journeys passes on these additional costs and charges them to your onboard account. This is currently the case for:
- Iceland: Mandatory for all passengers, approx. 18 € per day/person for each 24-hour stay
- Greece: For all shore leavers, depending on the port/season varying fees (approx. 1-20 € per person/port)
Required travel documents by Explora Journeys: Every passenger has to have a valid passport whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip. For all cruises that only call ports in the EU including Norway and Iceland, German/Austrian/Swiss citizens only require identity card whose validity is still given 6 months after the trip; all children up to and including the age of 14 require a children's passport or ePassport; these documents need a validity of 6 months after the trip.
