Danube Cruise with MS Adora

The tour operator and cruise provider Phoenix Reisen was founded in 1973 and is specialized in high-quality river and ocean cruises. The portfolio includes not only classic river trips, e.g. on the Danube, the Rhine and the Volga, but also exotic routes such as cruises in South America, the Orient or the South Seas. Due to the small ship sizes with capacities of 150 to 1200 passengers, there is a family atmosphere on board. During the cruise you can enjoy high-quality dishes, from the maritime fish buffet to grilled specialties to desserts and cakes. Phoenix Reisen also offers special arrangements for wedding couples, birthday children or other anniversaries and celebrations.

All staterooms on board the Adora are comfortably and cosily furnished. The staterooms on the Orion and Saturn decks are approx. 15.5 - 16 sqm in size and have a French balcony. The staterooms on the Neptune deck are approx. 15.5 - 16 sqm in size and have small windows that cannot be opened for safety reasons. The equipment of all staterooms includes a bathroom with shower, a hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, a TV, a radio, a minibar, a safe and a telephone.

Like on all Phoenix ships, the atmosphere aboard the Adora is cosy and casual, with a touch of elegance and luxury. The dress code on board is casual. At the traditional captain's dinner a more elegant wardrobe is expected, but formal clothing is not needed here either. Regional events, live music and light entertainment will make your trip to a great holiday. 

Look forward to a large breakfast buffet as well as multi-course lunches and dinners in the two restaurants of the MS Adora.There is an open table time on board, so you are free to decide whether you want to eat a little earlier or later.

The culinary offer is rounded off by lounges and bars (not included). For example, end your evening with the best view in the Panorama-Lounge or enjoy your favorite drink in the Heckbar.

Aboard a selection of books, board and card games is available. Regular events, music programs or lectures are offered, which may vary according to the destination. From the spacious sun deck, with loungers, seating facilities and shuffle board, you have a beautiful view of the passing river landscape.

Through a variety of shore excursions, you have the opportunity to get to know the country and its people along the river. The excursion program is adapted to the berthing times and is accompanied by qualified tour guides. The excursions are usually in German language. The shore excursions can be booked directly on board or partly online in advance.
